So This is an old problem from what I've seen from my searches, so I figured I'd bring it up. The turrets at outpost aggro for various nonsensical reasons, including but not limited to breaking oil barrels, killing animals enormous distances from the outpost, and damaging other players very far from outpost as well. This is problematic because many of the turrets have a range further than the safe zone warning and dont always lock on to you right away, resulting in deaths well within turret range making it impossible to get one's stuff back, especially with the excessively long hostile timer. Are there any plans to address this or what?
So don't do it........ or use a "ROCK"
I use a rock for smashing barrels WAY inside the safe zone, it only matters if you commit a crime inside the safe zone.
I have safely killed shit or attacked just outside.... only to run in and have some idiot try to kill me , without realizing he crossed the zone...
I think the oil barrel thing is on purpose.
its the way the maps are generated...
if you visit the bandit camp.... you will find the same as well as food baskets UNDER the water & UNDER the water lillies.
it just so happens that shit gets generated in a safe area.... but that does not mean you cannot harvest it.
The bandit camp is WAY worse, even killing a wolf or bear outside the camp , putting away your weapon... will get you a head-shot from one of the bandit guards with zero warning.
The "outpost" is glichable and you can kill things inside and survive.... problem is getting out alive or staying alive for 30 min without a shot being fired.. plus collecting loot is blocked.
But you can kill harass other players with a team of 2 in the outpost or rob them by the research table or recycler with a single player.
