Karl Marx isn't Karl Marx if he doesn't look like a run down and deranged Santa Claus imho.

Not that surprising tbh China has been fighting a culture war for the country's youth and they're losing bad. https://foreignpolicy.com/2019/01/23/super-patriotic-anime-youth-wars-china-japan-pop-culture/

Imagine in 30 years time China is split up into like 5 nations, all practicing different sects of Communism.
like every era of chinese history between a dynasty?
I'd just like to point out that this is being made by China's goverment body called "The Office for the Research and Construction of Marxist Theory", because of course that's a thing
Marx is someone who is exceedingly important and influential, and most people in the West don't know as much about him as they should. I guarantee the situation isn't that different in Asia either, even in China. Something like a Marx anime has the potential to be entertaining and enlightening to likely one of the most important intellectuals of the last 200 years. It won't be, though. It'll be a propaganda-filled mess that will deify Marx's theories as the CCP interprets them.
You are exactly the sort of person an educational show about Marx would benefit from. It wouldn't be too difficult to argue that Marx is the most influential sociologist and economist ever. One man was so impactful in these fields that hundreds of theorists are defined by the reactions to his works alone, even today. His influence is so deep, the only way to ignore it is to base your own works on people who have already tackled him for you. There's barely any social sciences these days that haven't been noticeably altered by reactions that can ultimately be traced to Marx.
To be fair though, my understanding is that Marx wouldn't have supported what Stalin, Mao, etc did. In fact, if he had lived to see those revolutions, and had lived in one of those countries, he almost certainly would have been executed alongside anyone else who disagreed with the ruling authorities' particular "implementation" of marxist theory.
Or more accurately, "The Office for Twisting Marx's Words into Supporting our Oppression".
As someone completely ignorant in any of those fields, and I hate that I have to ask, but how?
