When Trump formally recognised Guaidó as interim president last Wednesday, Maduro swiftly broke off diplomatic ties and demanded that all staff be pulled out of the embassy by Sunday, an order that the state department dismissed as illegitimate. On Saturday, Maduro extended the deadline by a month and told CNN that he had reached out to Trump but had not received a response. “He despises us,” Maduro said, adding that he was “overwhelmed with his internal problems”.
I smell some poor third world Oil in need of patriotic liberation...
Given that it was Bolton that gave the threat, he probably has nuclear weapon use in mind.
you have the worlds strongest military, the US, the worlds strongest economy, Germany, and the worlds smelliest person, Me, fighting against you Maduro. I think it's time to give up, lest you become the target of a Just Cause DLC.
"We'll nuke them before we let you take them hostage!"
I imagine that reporters are fair game, though.
Measures such as 5,000 troops being sent to Colombia https://media2.s-nbcnews.com/j/newscms/2019_05/2732356/190128-john-bolton-national-security-cs-405p_edcd0a583b5a0cd5ba4d237d8b45f219.fit-2000w.jpg https://i.gyazo.com/460f4044b84e16f9ad37e0b8555b5f06.png (Original photo grabbed from NBC)
