Brutal weather conditions in the low 20s (Fahrenheit) and concerns Casey
wasn’t dressed for the cold sparked a search that involved helicopters,
drones, K-9 units and divers, as well as hundreds of volunteers. By
Thursday the wind and rain had become so bad authorities urged
volunteers to stay away.
Aren't black bears the least aggressive of all bears? That would explain why he wasn't mauled to death
Hathaway wrote in a Facebook post. “God sent him a friend to keep him safe. God is a good God. Miracles do happen.”
Can people just stop doing this shit.
This is going straight to my 'undeniable sasquatch evidence' folder
When mothers of ill children thank God for their recovery, and say nothing to the doctors, you have a valid point.
But do you think the bear is very much wanting for credit? or do you just resent the religion that probably helped them through this excruciating time?
Bear saves kid
Mother: Praise god
Bear: Bruh..

Maybe she correctly believes god is a bear and is thanking bear God for being a good bear god rather than a bad bear god.
I'd at least understand the sentiment better if god were held responsible for atrocities as well.
If god is omnipotent and omniscient, and can intervene in situations like this one, then doing nothing to prevent horrible things from happening to innocents kinda makes him a huge cunt.
Aren't people allowed to have their beliefs if it isn't affecting anyone? Shit let people believe what they want.
Can't wait for the movie.
A Boy and His Bear
It's just this thing of praising something that doesn't exist for shit that can happen, weird shit happens but some people immediately start thanking "God" for it? It just sounds dumb.
why do you have to get this annoyed... it's a bear. what chance is it that a wild bear doesn't just mutilate you instantly let alone take care of you.
Maybe he meant the other type of bear
"this annoyed" Even though what I said was fairly minuscule; it's not the Bear that bugs me or anything like that, it's just people doing what I said.
Also it's not just a "wild bear" it's a Black Bear, they're a lot less aggressive than other bears, so the chances of it killing something small and probably not even remotely aggressive towards it are no doubt going to be very low, as opposed to a full grown adult male, even then, from what I've read, it's more likely to retreat than attack.
maybe it was just an extremely hairy woodland survivalist who preferred to remain anonymous
What probably happened is that it was a female beat who's maternal instincts kicked in. It's not to uncommon for animals to raise babies of other animals, thats why you sometimes hear those stories about feral kids raised by wolves.
it's not "brushing it off" as a divine intervention. it's just expressing their happiness. if this is the future where everyone gets annoyed by "god is good", then i guess i have to prepare for a world of out of touch people.
regardless which bear it was, these series of events are extremely unlikely so who cares if someone interprets it as divine intervention. it's really not a big deal..
Again you may not like it which is fine, that's your opinion. But then don't go criticize a woman whose been thru trauma about having a missing child who happens believes in and thank god. Let people believe what they want as long as it isn't a belief that has a negative impact on others.
I thought God was supposed to be beyond good and evil.
do people visit other countries and just walk around thinking "oh look at all these dumb religious people".
just stay at home bro..
No, I'd say he's right at Bath good and evil.
It seemed more like the criticism of people attributing chances to god instead of specifically criticizing this woman.
I think bad ideas should be disputed where they stand.
A persons beliefs (especially heavily dogmatic ones à la religion) are the primary motivator behind the choices they make, it's a vested interest to society to make sure beliefs don't stray from reality.
Aren't bears hibernating by this time of the year.
Oh boy... This is like that one Missing 411 story.
Lot of kids that come back after mysteriously disappearing talk about being saved by wolves, bears, and dogs. It's fucking scary.
One guy named Steven Kubacki has one of the most "WTF" stories of all.
The case of case of Steven Kubacki, who went missing for 15 months then woke up in a field wearing different clothes.
In February 1978, Steven, a student at the time learning German, went missing in the Michigan area, USA----an area known as the "Great Lakes
Triangle," which is written about in a book by Jay Gourley[6] that talks about the disappearances of hundreds of ships, boats, and aircraft. Paulides said is a great book.
Steven said he was going to go skiing.
They found his skis and his poles on the beach of the Lake Michigan and footprints on the ice leading up to the lake. They flew over it. The footprints appeared to stop.
They found his backpack in the same general area.
In May 5th 1979, 15 months later, Steven walked up to his father's door and said he didn't remember much.
He woke up in Pittsfield, 40 miles from his father's house, lying in a meadow wearing clothes that weren't his.
He had a small satchel beside him with maps, that weren't his.
Where he woke up was 700 miles from Lake Michigan.
Reporters asked him if he would talk to someone. He said he didn't need to, because he didn't have any psychological problems.
After 1983, Steven got a masters in linguistics, and a PhD in clinical psychology.
Paulides got in touch with him. Steve didn't respond to his calls or emails. [7] [8]
God is heavenly god of father god is holy god good god is great
I'm saying it on a forum that she'll probably never visit, "Let people believe" Bruh, I'm not stopping these people from doing anything, I'm just saying why do people have to keep doing this shit.
You're letting me know it's my opinion but you're implying I'm actually stopping people from doing this shit, get off it man, come on.
