https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-schedule-white-house-president-twitter-work-oval-office-a8756356.html?utm_source=reddit.com Donald Trump participated in just one event per day on average throughout January, according to his public schedule, amid mounting accusations he is not working hard enough as president.  So far this week, Mr Trump’s calendar showed he took part in one intelligence briefing, a lunch with vice-president Mike Pence, and a private Trump campaign fundraiser at his own Washington hotel. That followed a week in which four days were made up of no more than a single lunch with Mr Pence and another intelligence briefing.  He has also failed to make any form of public appearance since Friday, a stretch in which he has sent more than 45 tweets. Overall, Mr Trump’s public schedule showed a total of 32 events in the 31 days throughout January – not including his daily intelligence briefings, personal fundraisers or private White House lunches. That compares with 39 events Mr Trump had on his schedule through January 2018.  It comes after Axios reported last year the president was often only beginning his official day by 11am, in order to give him more time to watch TV, make phone calls and send tweets in what White House officials dubbed “executive time”.
Again, a toddler has a busier schedule than him.
But but, he golf too! That's serious work! Right? RIGHT?! But HER EMAILS!!!
If you dig deep for a silver lining, at least you can now accurately state that you're busier than the highest office in the land.
Trump has lowered the bar so much that even McDonald's now qualifies as a presidential meal.
Shit I spent the last two hours here at work mostly playing Solitaire and in that time I probably still did more work than Trump does in a month.
Good, I want him doing as little as he possibly can so he can't fuck things up more.
He's trying to to get closer to his base by becoming a social shutin and acting like a useless piece of crap all day.
I want him to keep working hard to fuck up things as much as he humanly can, just so we have more to look at in hindsight and rebound better.
Maybe if we are lucky, that will go down to 0 activities a day.
How many did Obama do? Trump's sounds shockingly bad but I have no idea what's considered the norm.
He looks really weird in that picture.
a coworker recently said trump is the busiest president ever, then when I refuted by pointing out both Obama and Trump's schedules are a matter of public knowledge and refutes their statement they said it was just my opinion.
That's pretty impressive, one more activity per day than me.
That is incredibly retarded. Our country isn't a trampoline that bounces back up as hard as it gets pushed down. If we go down, we're likely to stay there for a long time.
I don't know the exact answer but from what I do know the president commonly works like 10-14 hours a day. So even assuming each individual activity is an hour that'd still be 10-14. I'd guess that an activity counts as something like a meeting or a period of looking through and signing bills or even just reading through briefings. And the president typically has multiple briefings per day and quite a few meetings every day.
I thought about it too and I realised what it is. He looks normal for once. No weird expression, hand gestures, no fake tan and none of that awful puffy hairdo(or at least not as awful visible as is normal for him). He looks like a regular old man.
History disagrees with you. Those who have to build a system of governance from scratch usually take the best of all the surrounding governments and put them together leaving the terrible ideas out. When a government gets set in motion it calcifies and becomes incredibly difficult to change as the UK, China and USA will tell you. The only way to effectively and efficiently change a government is to break it to a point where everyone agrees it's too broken to use and then changes made for the better can finally take place. I'd also like to point out that right after we elected a black president from humble beginnings we then elected the most racist out of touch cunt the USA can spawn. There's also the fact that after everyone gets sick of republicans fucking up their state they reluctantly elect a few democrats to fix everything then have sudden amnesia as to why electing republicans is a bad idea in the first place as the democrats come out of office. Politics in republics it seems is quite the pendulum.
Imagine getting paid 400k a year to pretty much do nothing.
dang im good at that they should be payin me
God, I average two to three major activities outside of the house per day even when I'm NOT working. And that's in addition to doing whatever my parents need me to while I'm still living with them. Can you imagine Trump being told he had to mow the lawn, load the dishwasher, and sort the weekly recyclables? He'd throw a bigger fit than the average preschooler.
His hair is flat in the picture. It's usually proofed up.
I logged 3.6 miles on my fitbit today running around the hospital I work at getting patient medications. I do more than the president of the united states. fucking lol
How can anyone be mad at doing the dishes? We have a magic box that does it for you lmao.
Trump was born into unimaginable opulence and luxury. I'm willing to bet a month's paycheck that he has not EVER done manual labor a single time in his life.
I wouldn't take that bet only because Trump will just redefine paperwork to mean manual labour if anyone tells him he appears like a soft rich lazy fuck because he's never worked an honest day in his life that wasn't barking at underlings and letting them do all the legwork. Or he'll protest and say that he dresses himself so that should count.
since its 2019 and both of Trump's offices appear to be nothing but piles of documents and knicknacks with no computers around I'm gonna guess he doesn't have any idea how to do paperwork either.
High energy president.
Well unfortunately seems history teaches that's the only way your country learns. (Though this applies to other countries too, so)
Wow, we're witnessing history: the first NEET president.
