Just another disgusting bigot against the most oppressed group of all.
Rise up.
Could you spend the time to put [Video] in your thread titles in the future? Thanks.
Aye, my bad. I forgot this time
It's okay, it's Garry's fault anyway.
I hate this guy's monotonous voice
Yeah rise up fam.
there is one good thing that came out of /r/gaming's hideous existence, and that's /r/gamingcirclejerk
seriously, most of the shit on there is pretty funny

Pathetic anti gamer rhetoric.
between the name "Soviet Nazi" and the South Park avatar I questioned for a bit whether this was actually real

Geezus this is fucking cringe.
Most of this would be applicable for an IHE Reddit vid
Every major sub reddit has a circlejerk counter sub. what's lacking is the sensible meet in the middle sub.
the circlejerk subs are just as bad if not worse than the subs they are ridiculing
reddit would somehow find a way to have a countersub for that, too
reddit sounds kind of ass
that's what happens when you have a website entirely dedicated to drowning out dissent no matter the given subject
i never liked r/gaming because they're all biased as fuck towards consoles
I find /r/games just as bad as /r/gaming, just with no memes. The same circle-jerky opinions crop up and there's a new dumb outrage every few days
So many top voted comments are completely ignorant to how game development works
Honestly the only worthwhile things on reddit are the obscure and small communities that are very focused, such as the various engineering reddits or those focused on smaller/indie/obscure games.
The large communities are only really good to have a scroll through while you are taking a shit but there is hardly any worthwhile content. Especially with how the comment and upvote system works, it all just turns into echo chambers.
r/patientgamers is the best gaming subreddit for decent conversations, since they don't allow memes and recent games.
This video is a decade late. Everyone's been saying this for years, especially regular reddit users.
The biggest subreddits are all horrible and everyone already knows it.
/r/gamingcirclejerk will always be more about gaming than /r/gaming will ever be
I like it too because it also lets me know when the brand new shiny $60 game that came out 6 or so months ago is now finally at a reasonable price and has all the DLCs and stuff included
facepunch is more superior over reddit
you have to appreciate them, however
while a lot of it is just shitposting, the circlejerk subreddits put out some great meta memes about the circlejerk'd subreddit.
Like overwatchcirclejerk has some great memes about how r/overwatch fucking worships mercy. I'd say (at least in owcirclejerk's case) that they're a lot funnier than the jokes on the original subreddit.
Reddit is the type of site that encourages this shit anyway. It's quite literally a hivemind. You basically take like the same 10 posts and word them differently and thats what your top 10 posts are for the day.
"me and wife are poor, we bought [console] for our son with [disease]"
"[dumbshit]"
"can we please stop the posts about [dumbshit]?"
The fact that it's basically impossible to follow conversations or find something that was archived doesn't help, they practically have the memory of a goldfish.
Probably my favorite thing to make fun of is how, without fail, there's always a front page post of a cosplayer with attention to their large breasts and/or ass. Rarely ever a male cosplayer or a female in an outfit that's not fanservice.
Facepunch is superiour to a lot of forums dedicated to a lot of stuff I enjoy such as Overwatch, writing and gamemaking. That is why I enjoy coming here.
Please don´t close it down Garry
