After her release, she simply states that she won't attempt to "compromise" Oleg Deripaska any further.

Sucks as all hell but at least she's fine, feared the worst when I heard she was arrested.
Frankly, I think she'll be dead before the year is out. She's served her purpose for Russia in turning over the evidence, blaming America for all her troubles, and essentially stating that she was wrong for ever speaking up. Once the media has moved on, they'll most likely wrap up this loose end for good.
Well I hope journalists will keep tabs on her
I think it would be a pretty big story if she died of plutonium poisoning. I heard that when the Russian spy was murdered a few years back they were extremely fortunate to have looked for plutonium isotopes based off of some dude's hunch. I think the cat's out of the bag and they don't know what to do. Everyone would know its Putin and he'd look like a barbarian.
That recently happened and he got away with it.
Did he? The UK expelled a bunch of diplomats over it, didn't they? She's not a UK citizen and probably doesn't get that kind of protection but I doubt Putin wants to be known as a guy who hurts beautiful women but hey billions of rubles are at stake. Like the Cypress Hill song here is something you can't understand: nobody just kills a man.
They straight up invaded and annexed part of another country, claimed it wasn't them, then 2 years later Putin held an election rally there aren't you being a tiny bit optimistic here?
