Rapper 21 Savage arrested by US immigration – for being British .. >Authorities said the musician is in fact a British national who entered the US legally in 2005 but failed to leave under the terms of a nonimmigrant visa.
21 savage is my favorite grime artist
And Trump said they're not sending their best...
well the whole 'arresting and separating families at the border' thing was a brow-raiser, but now they've really done it! abolish ICE!

Good. Dude has gone far enough into his career that he can afford to fight in court or start from a fresh beginning. Maybe he has the visibility to put the word out there that this shit is not okay for people who don't usually care for regular people getting deported.
You shouldn't skirt the system because you're famous. If we've been deporting regular illegal Brits we gotta deport famous ones. Sorry mate. He'll probably be able to get an O-1 visa though?
He was 14 when it expired.
Non-immigrant visas are renewable. Though his felony might make that more difficult. Not sure. He'll probably end up with a proper visa eventually.
Yes, that's why it's not a big deal. Still has me wondering if we have more clandestine superstars out there that we don't know of just yet. I don't exactly want anyone exposed or deported, but I do believe that moments like this one give insight into other facets of illegal immigration and, maybe, given a proper example, help people consider the dichotomy between citizenship and belonging, and rethink their stance towards the undocumented. It seems to me like putting faces on this deportation crisis is a whole lot more sensible than the numbers we've got so far, especially if they're faces of famous people who can afford a recovery.
England is my city
those damn illegal brits are worse than illegal mexicans we need to build a wall on the east coast and we need to build it big

So I just caught this related headline as well; Demi Lovato pulls Twitter account amid backlash over 21 Savage c.. Fucking disgusting some of the shit she said. I get the memes and all that, but there is always someone who takes something too far. She said some shit and people starting clapping back at her making fun about her drug issues and she literally had the audacity to say; Sorry if I offended anyone. But it's no excuse to laugh at someone's addiction let alone their OD, Basically the same as saying “Boohoo if it's me everyone needs to be nice but it's perfectly fine for me to make fun of people when they are going through shit.” Her and people like her are one of the core problems with America and this shit really needs to stop. Regardless of who it is, it should never be ok to laugh or make fun of another persons misfortunes. (and even worse, then complain when people do the same shit to you...)
What, all she said that the memes were funny. Sure, it was poorly worded, but it's not like she was directly making fun of him.
It’s more so the response she gave in the tweet I quoted. She acts like everyone should feel sorry for her and not bully her but it’s perfectly acceptable for her to bully and make fun of others even if it is just her joining mob mentality.
