A lot of these sound like some sort of reverse-curb cut effect. Making the game easier and QoL features inevidently benefits the disabled instead of the other way round.
I think Celeste's Assist options is the best way to do it. Some games are intentionally brutally difficult as part of the core experience, and the "assist" menu lets players know that the game wasn't meant to be played with those options and are intended for players who are unable enjoy the game without them.
