sure but why do IWD2:EE instead.
Everyone deserves to experience Planescape: Torment's amazing writing. Though I do have to wonder how they're going to handle the controls on a gamepad.
This is actually really cool. Baldur's Gate is one of my favorite games, and I only first played it in 2017. Hopefully this re-release will be some kind of signal that these classics really aren't that difficult to get into. While some of the rules are obtuse thanks to AD&D, a couple google searches can quickly resolve any questions a player has nowadays compared to trudging through a manual trying to briefly describe THAC0 and Armor Class to no avail. Also, the Enhanced Editions for at least Baldur's Gate have really nice features like the difficulty options. One of the difficulties is a story mode, where the party straight up can't die. I personally had to use this when I played Throne of Bhaal, because I had forgotten how to git gud at BG2, Throne of Bhaal is really hard, but I still wanted to see the ending. Regardless, even if the release onto consoles isn't a huge success, at least it will be there for some crowd to enjoy, no matter how small. As long as more people get to see Minsc and Boo, the world is a better place. Go for the eyes, Boo! GO FOR THE EYES! RAAAAAAAGH!
I can see it working on the Switch. Xbox and PS though, ehh.
