(WZTV) — A Minnesota man was arrested after telling investigators he had a "death party" for his wife involving meth and loud rock music before wrapping her body in a bed sheet. Brown County deputies were called to investigate reports of a deceased person at 11:44 a.m. on Jan. 24 near Sperl Ave. in Searles. When authorities arrived, they noticed the front screen door had the words "Death Parde God Hell" in red spray paint. Court documents say Duane Johnson swung open the screen door while naked and yelled, "My wife is dead upstairs" before running back into the house. Deputies found Johnson in the bathtub and reported that he said his wife was "shaking so violently" and he "couldn't stand to see her flop around anymore." Officers discovered the body of Debra Johnson wrapped tightly in a gray bed sheet from head to toe fastened with what appeared to be a belt at the top of a narrow stairway. Johnson identified the body upstairs as his wife's and said, "I prepared the dead like the Bible told me to do," according to an affidavit. When investigators asked Johnson about the paint on the door, Johnson reportedly said his wife had been in a nursing home and that she begged him to get her out because she wanted to die at home.
Sounds like a Rocky situation.
Wow Jack Packard has really gone down hill.
what, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around all of this
This dude has the 'I host meth death parties for you or a loved one' look down, too. Power to him.
the title got me like wtf but then I lost my shit at the thumbnail lmao
I like to think that's just what his face looks like at all times.
Was wondering when someone would post this. Case is all around wild start to finish.
His wife wanted to die at home and not in a nursing home, so she begged her husband to get her out and take her back home. Apparently she wasn't in good health and her husband didn't want to see her suffer anymore, so they decided to spend the last of her days twacked out on meth until it killed her. It's kind of touching in a horrifying and depressing kind of way.
Could he potentially be charged for killing her? Not saying he should of course, just curious what the law says.
Words can't describe how hard I laughed when I opened the thread and saw that face.
Guy just wants to have fun!
Article says he was charged with criminal neglect. I'm assuming for not taking her to a hospital.
The original article I saw says he had a shit ton of stolen guns in his house as well.
Max Payne hasn't aged well
The sad state of countries without mercy killing laws. "How dare you show mercy to a loved one at deaths door! Don't you know you're supposed to silently torture them to death?"
