WASHINGTON — After two years and 200 interviews, the Senate Intelligence Committee is approaching the end of its investigation into the 2016 election, having uncovered no direct evidence of a conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia, according to both Democrats and Republicans on the committee.
hope it has a reason why the trump campaign had a load of russian agents in a room with campaign officials 2, 3, and don jr in trump's tower
"direct evidence" means a signed contract saying "I will help Donald Trump win the election, Vladimir 'the beast of the east' Putin" or a direct confession.
This is a meaningless and misleading story. This Twitter thread explains:

Circumstantial evidence is available by the metric fuckton and the media is doing an incredibly shitty and disingenuous job of covering this story, one of the most important the United States has ever seen.
"Investigators disagree on party lines about the meaning of contacts between Trump associates and Russians."
So it's the same shit as usual. The head of this committee, Richard Burr, is my senator. Based on the last election here, he's got a lot to worry about when he's up for reelection.
GOP says GOP's presidential candidate, now in the white house, is totally clean.
That doesn't means there isn't a russian man spreading lies for me to vote on someone else though.
I thought that Russian woman threw bleach on man spreaders?

14:30 mark "The evidence is almost always circumstantial..."
I know this is a joke but surprise, the "radical activist" pouring what was supposed to be bleach on the crotches of men on the subway was, ding ding ding, Russian propaganda to agitate the right against the left.
