Disney going to be swimmin' in that money.
Prediction: It will never live up to the first one. I wasn't a massive fan of the first one anyway, but the short-term impact it had was annoyingly huge. Unless they throw a Let It Go reprise into this one, I can't see it being even half as big as the first.
Is it just me or does the art style of the rocky beach not match that of Elsa?
Also Frozen II: Canuks.

What a bizarre turn of events. Looks more like an adventure movie with a more serious tone.
It looks like they are out to kill a drake or somethin'
But, I ain't gonna lie, I'm a sucker for sequels that feels proper evolved. None of that "tis just nother of them extended jaunt' sequel, I'm talking new outfits and new life direction and all.
So count me in, just no more of that.. singing.
Honestly a good direction to take; it'd be more interesting to see a big expansion of the small world of the first movie and explore something not involving what's already covered in the first one.
A rehash of the first would go pretty poorly IMO, even if it would sell merch like no one's beeswax
Realistic environments with cartoony characters is the Pixar look these days, though honestly the better they get at environment detail the more uncanny it becomes to see.
If you want to see an even better example of this, I'd look up "The Good Dinosaur"
Now let's hope this teaser is not as misleading as the one they made for the first part

Another teaser:

I like the Scandinavian feel
did they change the artstyle for the characters big time or is it just me
"Oh fuck guys, the internet hated the Aladdin trailer and the Genie is basically a big meme now what the fuck do we do"
"Eh, release the Frozen 2 trailer. Doesn't matter if people like it or not, it's a big enough brand that it will sell."
Frozen 2: Canadian Boogaloo
It's both the Rendering/Shader Engine evolving and the designs changing to fit the apparent more Adventure based tone of this Sequel.
I won't lie, this is looking better than the original already for me. I didn't much like the original even with the plot twist. Tangled is the movie i preferred more but this is peeking my interest more than the original back then.
Is that fucking Anakin Skywalker on the left???
Forgive me, i never seen frozen.
Why do they keep calling things "teasers" when it's 2 goddamn minutes long.
It's just the trailer at that point.
Honestly, best teaser I've seen in a long while. It made me actually want to see the movie
call me hype I guess
It's a teaser because it doesn't give a single clue what the plot of the movie actually it.
I'm hyped.
Legit interested in this, i'm liking the enviroment and tone from what i've seen!
I'm liking the dash of grit in this. This I felt like was missing in the first one when she was going through her "Disney Villain" phase while exploring her powers. I'm also liking the idea of other uh, "benders" in the move with one for fire and the other with wind.
She doesn't look like she's wearing a proper dress. Looks like she created a morph-suit out of ice.
That's......going to get some mileage somewhere.
Surprised no one else posted this yet

I mean wouldn't you go slutty commando if you could summon a second-skin-ice-suit?
So what I'm gathering from all this is for some reason or another they leave their kingdom. Searching for their lost/dead parents? Finding where Elsa got her powers? Either way they appear to be separated, so probably some more sisterly fighting going on here. I'm all for finding out what truly happened to their parents or at least learning why the hell she has powers at all but this trailer doesn't really give off any intrigue. Who's the villain? What's the goal/lesson? How will this compete with other Disney lackluster sequels? I'm very much meh about this trailer.
Frozen was 6 years ago. It makes sense that they'd try to age up the story a bit for the target audience. Those 8-10 year olds are 14-16 year olds now, they want action and suspense.
Don't forget the 300% increase of Frozen lesbian porn, this is how i first learned that Frozen even existed...
Yooo I'm genuinely hyped as heck
Not excited to find out the real context behind that first scene though, just in case it isn't "Elsa training to fight the entire sea for killing her parents"
level with me fp
I never bothered to see the first one because the internet made it seem like a puffed up magical olaf let it go marathon money sponge
and so that's really all I know about it
that and they did a bunch of snow animation study
