the fuck does that article even mean by "i'm still worried about what that exactly means" you fucking goob it means there's gonna be a single-player campaign just like the old games, what else could that shit mean
Should be Infinity Ward's turn, right?
F.
Yep. It’s rumored to be a new Modern Warfare title, which I’m doubtful of.
I can't wait for Cyborg Makarov, or Makarov had a kid and now he wants revenge on Old Man In The Wheel Chair Price, if all those MW4 rumours are true.
Wow, I sure missed having no Call of Duty SP campaign for a whole year.
WW2's was quite disappointing, aside from that undercover palace infiltration mission.
Huh, article mentioned leaks that the No Russian mission probably wont be included in a mw2 remaster, if it's true thats a real bummer.
Fuck I can't even imagine the shit storm that would stir up in this ever fragile climate.
Including or not including it? Because you're guaranteed to get shit on either way.
Fuck that noise. I get why No Russian was controversial but Christ, it’s been ten years and it’s kind of integral to the plot. Cutting it now is just plain stupid
I would imagine including it would be a lot worse of a shit storm than not including it.The media would sensationalize the shit out of it "Call of Duty advocates kids to shoot up airports" or some shit like that. That scene is a pivotal part of MW2's campaign, I hope they include it and give an option to skip it as a compromise like they did with the flash back to that in MW3.
Probably why they decided to be chickenshit and cut it out, can't have any controversy about our game remasters now.
Devs: We're gonna have a single player campaign in the next game. Journalists: LITERALLY WHAT DID THEY MEAN BY THIS??????????????
You can go infront of the movie theatre in GTA and mow down random passer-bys. I don't see why this would be more or less controversal.
One thing I'm looking forward is the snow missions being remastered in MW2, played through it again and I absolutely loved them, just like how I loved the Chernobyl one in MW1, so I'd love to see how they look in the remaster.
"Can" being the key word there. You can do that in GTA, but there's no reason why you would. The mission in MW2 is specifically about you and some other guys gunning down a bunch of civilians in an airport.
Won't someone think of all the civilian NPCs who got murdered? Now who is going to take care of NPC_CIV_AIRPORT_15's kids? They got no father to play with
I don't like most recent Call of Duty singleplayer story, but they have their good time. Jonathan Iron speech to the UN is one of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCVtXBNEdtg
Good. Unpopular sentiment but it's the only reason I play call of duty. Could care less for the multiplayer
Modern Warfare 4?
What are you talking about, it did cause a massive shitstorm when it came out and got censored in a bunch of different countries. If anything, it'd get a weaker reaction today because we've got an extra 10 years of super-violent hi-def media desensitization under our belts.
Please just don't make yet another "you are the ultimate badass and anyone that isn't you is useless" story. Halo always did well with portraying a military force that actually feels effective with our without your help. You were just hitting a little heavier than they were. Felt like they were doing that more often than not in Advanced Warfare but fuck if BLOPS3 didn't feel like the polar opposite, couldn't even finish it.
You can also choose to not shoot the civilians. The only time you're required to actually shoot is when the cops are shooting at you. IIRC
You don't even technically have to shoot the cops. Though you do need to use flashbangs to survive.
I think what the author meant was that it might be likely for corners to be cut in extreme ways, like "you get a campaign, but you will get a shitty multiplayer/no zombies/whatever" either way, if they don't saddle up and do what Treyarch is doing with BO4, they will fuck it up.
You can also skip the mission. Or not play the game. Or not play any R rated games at all, if you're that fragile.
The new ones don't even have campaigns? Holy shit
99% of the money they make is MTX anyway
