The standard team system (TAB/bottom left list) is unreliable, as at random moments it can reset and you'll be out of the team overview (even with others left in it).
Most often this happens when you exited in unusual way (like game crash, timing out, etcetera).
I suggest the system to be improved so that a team can technically persist for days at once, without being affected by random bugs.
