all over the news today in chicago people are talking about how it's the 25th anniversary of 'the' incident that spurned "watch for falling ice" signs everywhere, where a man walking with his daughter was killed by a "microwave-sized" block of ice that shed off a skyscraper, I'd imagine a wood and metal chair coming down with that amount of weight and force is above and beyond just 'injury or accident' material

Balcony crimes are the worst. I once got spit on while harmlessly enjoying a hotel balcony by some anonymous jerk above. Unfortunately they weren't dumb enough to record and post themselves doing it like this chick.
I'm sure many of us have thrown objects out of frustration, and out the window even.
I know I have. But I will never do it again. The risk to seriously injure someone or possibly killing someone, and ruining your life, is there. And it's not a risk I'm willing to take ever again.
