Mueller III about matters close to the heart of their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, a federal judge ruled Wednesday. The judge’s finding that Manafort, 69, breached his cooperation deal with prosecutors by lying after his guilty plea could add years to his prison sentence and came after a set of sealed court hearings. Manafort had denied intentionally lying after his plea deal, but U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the District found he lied in three of five areas alleged by prosecutors. She said she would factor in his deception on other topics at sentencing March 13. She specified Manafort’s lies included “his interactions and communications with [Konstantin] Kilimnik,” a longtime aide who the FBI assessed to have ties to Russian intelligence.
Manafort is really banking on that pardon.
I'm just glad these slimy rich privileged cunts are getting some sort of punishment in this world, no matter what the investigation concludes.

69 years old? Kinda a shame he's just now getting punished for what was most likely a career in crime.
Which he will be granted.
I wouldn't be so sure.
Trump might shoot himself in the foot every day, but he wouldn't take a blunt machete to his ankles.
Pretty sure they’ve got plenty of state crimes ready for when that may happen. Plus, they can then subpoena him after a pardon, where he’ll probably lie again. Not sure if double jeopardy covers that but hey, we may find out.
Pfft, you seriously think the Trump presidency has a rock bottom?
I get the impression Manafort is more afraid of owing money to Vladimir Putin's Russian Mafia buddy than he is of the US government. Understandable.
A part of me wants him to do it but and even bigger part of me is afraid he would actually get away with it at this point.
I'm morbidly curious what would happen if he did it.
I don't think double jeopardy covers new crimes.
So if the president was impeached an hour after pardoning Manafort, the pardon would still stand? Seems broken
I just got that thought as soon as I made my post. Yeah, if he lies again, he's just double fucked lol
