Absolutely MIND BLOWN! This has got to be your best picture yet... it's striking yet incredibly simple (which just shows how talented you are)... what a compelling hall, the angle and composition are masterful, the colors beautifully complement each other... the lighting is mouth-watering... and the CONCEPT alone, the combination of your brutalistic style, the museum theme, the assets used... I can't express how much I love this... .... the reason I can't express how much I love this is the reason art like this exists, its a language of its own kind which speaks deeper than words, and you've become wonderfully fluent in this language. The embodiment of my love for Gmod art... this is absolutely my favorite piece of all time!
I am diggin this a lot. Personally my favourite of yours as well, CK! Gave you a diamond since you deserve it.
Originally I was going for a brutalist concrete hall, but by accident I clicked on the concrete oval columns with my material tool which had the wooden floor selected so that's how it received that wooden look. I then added a bit of red color on the columns since it started to remind me of sequoias. I'm starting to reason more in big geometric shapes now kind of like: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8lb4l6 https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zAPEJD . Just big simple shapes which dominate the picture. Maybe that's why a lot of people seemed to like this one on deviant art even though to me it's more of a product of happy accidents.
The more i'm coming back to this piece of art the more i like, it's really captivating.
Just WOW!
