Wait, what the fuck? This is coming out tomorrow? I didn't even know we had a release date.
It's getting bad reviews for anyone curious
I mean it looks decent. But considering that we're at the cusp of a new generation, and games already reaching their peak in this generation I half expected something more than a barren city with some stickers applied to it.
I think it looks pretty cool personally, it looks fucking giant for what it is. I really hope that the cars of Crackdown 1, make a return. That's a fucking must for me. The transforming cars were the coolest fucking thing.
A real shame. I doubt Microsoft will want to keep this IP now that it's been doomed to fail every time since 1. Last I saw, they are in the game.
I don't think the end product really lived up to how long it had been in development, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like how clean and simplistic the world is and its use of colors. It does look like a launch title though.
I think the main issue was the amount of time spent on cloud computing destruction. Had the multiplayer been canned from the start (or as a separate project) this game could have turned out much differently.
what happened
I found out about that a few days ago, I was shocked. Still won't play it because I don't have an XBOX. Well, I might play the coop if my friend wants to.
Apparently it feels like a open world game made 5 years ago, doesn't have anything to make it stand out, and the whole open world with superpowers concept has been done better since CD 2. It also clocks in at around 6/7 hours not counting racing missions
I mean it's coming out on PC aswell
