Doesn't look good at all. I'll understand if they at least adapted his design to fit more like Thor but nope, straight up half naked barbarian fighting in modern America with a 2 handed fucking sword side by side with Venom.
Smh should had added the other conan as well

What about Dave the Barbarian?
Why not just combine them?

"Buh-Jabbers!"
that team looks fantastic
Im not mad at this. Conan will be simultaneously both inside and outside of his confort zone. It can make great and interesting situations
The Flaming C is DC territory:

And should be a guest character/premiere skin in Injustice 3; voiced by Conan no less... I am only semi-joking.
Funny thing is that loincloth Conan isn't even what he looks like in the original short stories. He almost always wear clothes or armor. He is also not supposed to be a bodybuilder but an athletic man. This is a more accurate depiction of conan.

Because slapping Conan in there just feels really lazy, at least at face value. Mixing very popular characters and themes together doesn't always mean it'll work, especially if they stick out like a sore thumb next to each other and the only real reason they are together is to make money. Conan has absolutely nothing to do with any of those characters and plobbing him in some completely different setting will just feel weird. It's going to take some exceptionally good storytelling to make it feel natural and that Conan has a real reason for being there beyond money and readers.
Like you could make a film about Darth Vader, Scooby Doo, Hodor, Homer Simpson, and Hulk battling vampires in a post apocalyptic setting, because all those things tend to be popular in films and television, yet it would be a complete pile of shit that no one would watch for obvious reasons.
you know damn well this isn't a fair comparison
Wait, Marvel couldn't do this already? I could have sworn they were the main producer of the Savage Sword of Conan series back in the eighties, which adapted a lot of the original Conan stories and then expanded the universe in typical comic book style once they ran through all of those. I'm fairly sure Red Sonja originated from those almost whole cloth; Although there was a Red Sonja in an original Howard story, she wasn't connected to the Hyboria setting at all nor the chainmail bikini wearing "She-devil".
I don't really mind going back to that well, love me some Conan, but this seems like a bizarre way to do it. Conan's had crossover continuity before -- he's technically as valid a part of the Lovecraft mythos as Hastur due to author cross-pollination -- but he's usually been held far away from what could be considered "Modern". Even in the most comick-y of comic plots there were narrative pains taken for advanced technology to be solidly the realm of evil "Wizards" who were dabbling in time travel/multiverse shenanigans; Of which Conan only gleamed hints of, or got glimpses of that his primitive mind interpreted as mystic bullshit and noped out of there.
I dunno how to really put it. Best I could say is that I could totally buy Dr. Doom meeting Conan during a time travel jaunt and Conan writing him off as just another goddamn sorcerer, but not Conan teaming up with the Avengers and having to have the concept of handguns explained to him the first time a mook pulls one out.
I guess Ka-Zar's too busy to be in the Savage Land with these heroes so they just slapped Conan in there
I see someone stole my team roster from playing too much Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
arnold's representation pretty much controls the image of what Conan looks like, even though he also wasn't half naked most of the movies.
its like how they're so afraid to make a t1000 that looks like anyone else as well.
Could you imagine a movie of this? Old ass logan, the punisher from the tv show, venom from his new movie, whoever the other 2 are, and then out walks fucking buff ass Conan with his sword.
I don’t like the Electra from daredevil.. not sure if voodoo is in anything. I still want that “old man Conan” with Schwarzenegger to get made
