This is what I've heard from a few other reviews, which is such a shame I'll be pir be waiting a year to play it on the steam store.
Oh well!

No regrets
anyone have any comments on the performance, those who have played it?
I was hoping for a DRM-Free release myself (Disc, GOG, whatever was legitimately providing), and with me finding it hard to find time for most single-player stuff from Sonic Mania to Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, I was already prepared to wait for a better time for me to enjoy what Metro has to offer (Gotta update my rig with Windows 10 anyhow, as I can't hold on to Windows 7 forever, much as I'd like to, and maybe some new hardware while I'm at it). I guess now Deep Silver has a problem with Steam users money, as they seem too good even for that (As do Skybound Games it seems). 4A Games really did not need yet more publisher nonsense (Metro: Last Light certainly came with it's own attached), but here we are, with me hearing even the Disc copies require the Epic Launcher (Not that I'm enthusiastic about disc copies asking for Steam mind you).
its pretty good (70-120fps with a 1080 at 1440p) but the options are limited

I've played it for about an hour, it seems as good as the previous entries. I think the one thing that irks me is that the sound design seems a little off, things that should have a larger impact sound wise don't.
