How about craft-able liquid concrete? Each "batch" would fill a triangle half-walled volume. Two batches fills one triangle, or fills half a square, and four batches to fill a square all the way up. One "Rust" day to "cure" for full HP.
No upkeep costs added to increase both HP and number of objects to penetrate in order to gain access.
Crushed Stones, Water and a new item.. cement.
It would help fill the usually-empty voids in honeycomb, and provide extra protection without guns, ammo or upkeep costs.
750 HP for filled and cured volume.
Imagine a half-wall high layer across your roof.... =)
