• [VIDEO] Youtube is Harboring Pedophiles, and it's Being Monetized[MattsWhatItIs]

https://youtu.be/O13G5A5w5P0 Paraphrased the original title cause it didn't fit into the 80 character limit, but i think my paraphrased title still gets the original point across. This video is more indepth than Wubby's videos about this topic. Because of this it's more of a serious tone and longer too. Over the past 48 hours I have discovered a wormhole into a soft-core pedophilia ring on Youtube. Youtube’s recommended algorithm is facilitating pedophiles’ ability to connect with each-other, trade contact info, and link to actual CP in the comments. I can consistently get access to it from vanilla, never-before-used Youtube accounts via innocuous videos in less than ten minutes, in sometimes less than five clicks.. Additionally, I have video evidence that these videos are being monetized by Youtube, brands like McDonald’s, Lysol, Disney, Reese’s, and more. This loophole is wrong, something needs to be done. Its's being monetized. CP is being traded as well as social media and WhatsApp addresses. Youtube is facilitating this problem. It doesn't matter that they flag videos and turn off the comments, these videos are still being monetized, and more importantly they are still available for users to watch. How would these brands react to knowing their advertising is appearing on these videos? Let them know it is unacceptable: [See video description i'm not about to stretch this page out more than I have to ] Pretty sick shit tbh
There was a similar issue on Tumblr as well, which I'm not sure if they've properly cracked down on yet. With these massive social media platforms, one can easily make a small, hidden platform to share this stuff and, due to the site being so massive, rarely face any direct moderation as long as predators hide the stuff behind links and proxy accounts. It's an issue that exists on a lot of platforms that will probably need to be addressed before these sites face a legal disaster, seeing as some of them could be counted as hosting this content.
Definitely overreacting a little, especially with the timestamps, but I think due to the fact that content are innocent-looking and secluded enough to be exploited by the ring, as opposed to big number youtubers being so public and unfortunately became a target by people who want a cut of their profit. This isn't exactly an easy problem to remedy without either a lot constant manpower moderation, or more automation R&D which will take time and only serves as temporarily fix until more loopholes crop up...
While he does get emotional, I would hardly say it's an overreaction. Preying on kids is sickening. I think the point is just that Google is not doing enough about this given the tools we know they already have. They ostensibly employ a bot that is able to detect when this sort of thing is going on and disable the comments. It would seem to me the next step at the very least is just to block videos and suspend the channels that reupload them and make these comments.
My dude, that's already at an end. look at mumkey jones, his entire channel got nuked because of satire on Elliot Roger. Same with tons of channels about weed, they all got nuked out of the blue. And those are just two examples in a sea of dozens. Look at Twitter. They don't even check reports before banning people. And tons of people are banned for truly nonsensical reasons.
I mean, youtube's own algorithm already triggered the disabling of the comments, because of predatory behaviour in the chat. And all the timestamps point to times in the video where the children are in compromising positions/panty shots etc. As well as pinging each other in the comments in order to share CP via PM It's pretty god damn disgusting. Not to mention once you're in, you get nothing but this kind of content recommended to you.

"Upon review" my ass.
Why do companies insist on using keywords for these technologies The Australian Nerf blaster community has been forced to move buying and selling off Facebook as well, because whatever system they use goes "Wait, a nerf recon barrel extension? Guns have barrels! Are you selling guns?! GET REMOVED."
I think we’ll eventually have DNA identification replacing usernames and passwords, making every alias traceable to one user. At least, that could work in a perfect world; but I don’t know if people would ever accept it in this world of corruption and flawed cybersecurity.
"How would these brands react to knowing their advertising is appearing on these videos?" I know how, by threatening another Adpocalypse and Youtube in turn will get even harsher on innocent users by employing even more retarded AI mods. Oh hey look it's already happening:
the next tf2 update all control point maps have been removed from the game files entirely
wtf Valve is a pedo ring too???
Upon review, huh? So "someone" watched it and said "yup that's cp" and got literally nothing banned, but people who post actual voyeur videos and other creepy shit don't??
This is highly disturbing, especially the part where he fast forwarded trough some of the videos
I haven't watched the full video, but I think he misdirects his anger a bit. Most of the videos don't appear to have any malicious intent behind them, it's just kids doing kid things. The problem is entirely the people in the comments, so I don't see what the problem is with the videos themselves being available and monetized unless it's adults uploading them specifically for that audience. The videos aren't actually sexual unless you're looking at it sexually, so I think it would be wrong to punish the children making them. But the comments section problems should definitely be dealt with somehow.
quick!!! jam while you still can https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a75SxyVBvKU
This is just the algorithm doing its thing. Which isn't a good thing. Its clearly abuseable and some of the worst folks can take advantage. Youtube's lack of moderation staff that are real human beings is upsetting. I wonder if its because the job is too huge to have real people do it, or google is trying so hard to innovate with its algorithms that they just dont want to hire real people. Maybe a combination of the two?
Sharo already pointed out, plus my guess that the reason why the videos passes the test because they are clean -- in a vacuum, those videos are just children doing seemingly normal things. Don't get me wrong, pedophiles are targeting the videos, however the timestamps in particular, aren't really 'compromising positions', they are freeze frames that the predators are using to fuel their imagination, but this guy acts like the kids are flashing or something to drive up emotional levels, hence I said he was 'overreacting'. And obviously Youtube don't advocate this and is actively fighting a lot of fronts, along many other social platforms so him being so surprised of their existence and just throws a tantrum at Youtube and quitting is quite the power move.
He isn't being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic. He is looking at the videos in the lens of a predator, in the aspect as he has found the videos being distributed for more sinister reasons. The kids did absolutely nothing wrong by posting videos and trying to have fun. However, the issue is you have a large network of predators actively targeting these videos with comments and using freeze frames to sexualize the child. They are using this to satisfy themselves. The children are the victims here. No one debates that. If you don't feel anger towards this subject or how youtube mishandles then I don't know what to say. Youtube in the grand scheme of things has mismanaged their platform for a while, they've clearly shown that making money is priority, and generally enforce their rules/policies loosely and without any real consistency. This little network of videos which people use in a predatory fashion is just another black eye for youtube. You cannot seriously tell me that a website that makes around 10+ billion dollars of profit cannot afford to protect their platform and enforce rules. Why is it youtube seems to be the only site that has issues enforcing shit and policing their own website? Youtube can write a lot of strongly worded policies, but they mean jack shit if there is a large group of people who openly operate in the way they do. If it was just one or two videos that slipped the cracks and had a lot of activity on it then sure, i could chock it up to a mistake. However, there are dozens if not hundreds of videos with this type of activity. Youtube cannot seriously tell me they're having trouble finding or enforcing the rules when some people who have a little bit of time on their hands manage to find this shit easily. If seeing comments like this on a video of kids eating ice cream doesn't make you pissed or feel disgusted then maybe I'm not the one with the issue (I'm not saying you are okay with this under any circumstance btw, this is just a general statement). https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/230446/be7a6f67-c8d0-46dc-944f-9d0afe475ad9/image.png It isn't overdramatic, he found a disgusting ring of pedophiles using images of children to satisfy their sexual urges. Pedophile fantasies no longer are imagination when you begin using real images of kids. Youtube is a utter joke and these pedophiles know that. Hince, why they openly do what they do. An environment like this doesn't just prop up on its own. It developed into what it has because of incompetence, complacency, and the general attitude that youtube has when it comes to handling shit.
It sounds to me a bit like you're close to saying two contradicting things at the same time, making the same mistake as Matt in the video. On one hand you're saying "The kids did absolutely nothing wrong by posting videos", but then later in the same post you're implying that the remedy should be for YouTube to demonetize and ban the videos ("If it was just one or two videos that slipped the cracks"). I get that you probably mean that the users making comments should be dealt with, but Matt makes it pretty clear that he thinks the videos themselves should be removed, thus punishing kids for being victims. Also, he is currently live streaming an event to make this go viral, and he's definitely pushing for the videos to be removed, rather than the problematic users directly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s20T9Jy3va0
Realistically, the kids video removal is for their own protection at this point. I doubt most of the kids involved meet the age requirement of 13. The videos are only getting traffic by a niche group of people who happen to be predators. If they meet the requirements for being able to upload videos then sure keep them around, but if not then they need to be deleted/suspended.
Pardon me asking, but who is this guy? He seems to have deleted every video on his channel posted prior to today, but his Youtube account has been active since 2016 and his instagram has a post bragging about reaching 10k subscribers in 2017.
I would not call this overreacting, ESPECIALLY with the timestamps
He used to do vlogs, particularly about dating and legitimately doing NoFap for long periods.
Did he ascend? Is that how he discovered this information?
Ascended and attained enough power to uncover the nature and destroy the YouTube algorithm itself
The announcer guy in CS was a pedo and afaik his voice was never removed from CSGO
There's so many... All these videos have millions of views, each one more than the one posted in OP.
