Here's an alternate source since the op is paywalled: Bloomberg
Literally 10 - 13 hour difference and this is going to be one of our new main trading partners.
Fucking. Bravo.
It's positive news though, or am I mistaken? If the worst comes to worst and britain gets self-dicked with a no deal brexit, then it is incredibly important to get as good trade deals as possible, in that situation it would be for the best if the UK would actually open successful trade outside the EU and also get strong private agreements within the EU. Ideally, the EU should regret losing the UK, not the other way around.
Ideally.
It is good that we'd have a trading partner after No-Deal Brexit but it's literally on the other side of the globe.
I'm afraid the import/export process is going to tally the prices up way high.
It's okay, we're leaving Europe. We can just unfasten the ropes, lift the anchor and float to the south Pacific. All of those British expats looking like they're in jeopardy in Spain can enjoy the sunnier climes as well.
UK already does a lot of trade with Aus.
This is great because Brits can now experience what it’s like to drink a VB longneck at 20 to 8 in the fucking morning
