Damn, I wonder what Chanel will end up like now with him gone. He lived a good life though, rip.
Watched him in 7 days out and he came across as a really unique guy, didn't expect to see him go so soon after discovering him.
Good riddance, what a terrible man.
Those who doesn't remember every time his comments hit the headlines and were posted here on Facepunch, look him up in Google. Almost zero redeeming features.
'What I Hate Is Nasty, Ugly People
seems like he bought a mirror and died
there are a few bad ones in there but imo most of those are just reading badly, if you know how the very specific subcommunity of successful gay artists speaks, it's mostly life advice and perspective stuff. Not a fan of all the 'fat' stuff but w/e
"Life is not a beauty contest, some [ugly people] are great. What I hate is nasty, ugly people. The worst is ugly short men. Women can be short, but for men it is impossible. It is something that they will not forgive in life—they are mean and they want to kill you."
Holy shit he was real life /fit/
Bury him in the traaaash.
I mean the dude seemed like an cunt but saying good riddance is kinda fucked up
Unless there's more to him that i don't know about, like he's a wife beater or something
He pretty much saw women as merely coat hangers and encouraged anorexia

You may have seen this picture and think "Oh, he has a sense of humors about himself"
The sentences is "It's yellow, It's ugly, It goes with nothing, but it can save your life."
Well, while he agreed on posing for the picture, he did not wears the yellow vest, the yellow vest is a post-photography montage added on him. This is how big his ego is, even for useful PSA like these.
Wow he's like a caricature of a rich racist dickhead
https://www.cnn.com/style/article/karl-lagerfeld-controversial-quotes-intl/index.html
"One cannot -- even if there are decades between them -- kill millions of Jews so you can bring millions of their worst enemies in their place,"
"These are fat mummies sitting with their bags of crisps in front of the television, saying that thin models are ugly,"
"Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants,"
"Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants,"
jesus christ I can't help but read this in Stu's voice from Rugrats

oh god im now imagining Stu wearing sweatpants make it stop
Good. We don't need designers with his mentality. Lagerfeld is a what should be left behind, Fashion now has learned to embrace the ugly, the wild, and the strange. Fashion is different now, Gucci embraced Dapper Dan, Louis partnered with Supreme, Rick Owens visited the Supreme store, People are mixing high end with low end brands, if you go into a barney's there's probably a skater wearing vans shopping there too. If people like him dominated the industry none of these things would have happened.
