Steps for half wall platforms. Ability to place floors on 1/4 walls like we do we 1/2 walls. Triangles that actually make a square & the ability to rotate to use the side we want. Hatches made out of HQM. 1/4 square sections of walls. So, we can build 4x 1/4 squares to make 1 full wall section. slope, just because. Ability to colour our walls with textures. I'd love the ability to build bases in the snow, with white walls. Sniper auto turrets with greater range. metal storage box's. 1/2 sized roof sections. Corner roof sections, so we don't have roofs sticking through other sections & looking stupid. doors with turret holes in the middle. Elevators for bases. Trap doors. I think, around 60-70% of rust play, is within & based on base building. So, would be nice to have increased options for more base building options.
I think a sniper auto turrets would be little op. Now if it was a auto turret that was simi auto but did more damage??? And the issue with having wall textures is performance this would very laggy. Think if there was 60 bases on the map and each had its own textures. Now I understand you don't load the whole map at once but if you were near a zerg base that is textured it would be game breaking.
I agree in theory with all but a few... 7. - Already exists. It is an app called Rustangelo. Make your base's exterior walls in the same proportions as the canvases available. Take a screenshot of terrain where base shall reside. Paint that picture on an XXL picture frame that is attached to exterior walls. Cloaking Field Active. 8. - No. Area denial would reach epic proportions and the griefers would drink newb tears more than usual. Greater range is not needed, just the ability to protect turrets until a target presents itself. Facepunch gave us just that. With the new sensors and electrical activation circuits, a turret can be easily placed behind doors. The doors open when sensor detects a player. Snipe until dead or sensor no longer detects player. Doors close. Sensor placement, protection and duplication becomes paramount, or loss of usefulness ensues. I agree that a craft-able "armored ladder hatch" would be ideal. I continue to use regular ladders inside armored triangle shafts if I want vertical access. Using up one honeycomb triangle for a single-story ladder shaft is not difficult or dangerous. Offsetting each one is important.
Well, Rustangelo is poor. I tried this a while ago out of curiosity. It took about 45 minutes to paint a xl picture of Japan's flag. Which is basically white with a red circle. And from what I've seen from the paid for levels, the speed isn't improved enough to avoid you standing without being able to move your mouse, outside your base for a number of minutes. You might as well just leave your doors open!
Lmao they do have textures I can see that but them having different textures would cause performance and the reason they can have ak skins is first because you don't see ak's more than you see bases and they are a smaller pixel count. Also they are concerned about performance have you read the forms.
If you are painting a japanese flag you really do not need rustangelo for it. Colour the canvas white and slap a dot in the middle. For the flag of Great Britain I would use rustangelo as it is more complex
14 already exists in two variations(laser or panel), but it's pity that electricity concept raw and not working now.
