https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4ZNBKtdswk I died laughing at this, his editing is just so great.
I agree - At one point I didn't watch the food videos because I was used to the game/video content for a good while. After a bit though, i thought "why not" and I am glad I did. I remember deciding to watch whatever latest food video it was at the time and noticing very quickly how much more there was going on with the editing that I hadn't seen as much of before, and thanks to stuff like that I think i anticipate the food related videos more. Brilliant stuff all around from Brutalmoose; Glad Facepunch got me onto his stuff several years ago!
Same here, I was definitely weary of his food videos at first, but he really does let his editing shine. He's probably one of my favorite youtubers, and it seems like a lot of the game youtubers that I used to watch have lost their touch or have been reusing their formula too much, I really like that brutalmoose is trying to make new content that really shows off his talent in sound design and video editing. The fucking blindfold made me lose it, I definitely hope he does more of this type of thing soon.
I had the opposite experience. I would only watch his food videos and generally ignore the video game / tv show reviews, but over time i started watching both and it's all just so good

I guess when I had first heard of him he was only doing gaming stuff afaik, so that's probably why I remember that so much, he reviewed a lot of the Humongous Entertainment games that I played as a kid and I always enjoyed his reviews. As much as I liked his gaming stuff, it definitely didn't show how talented he was at video/sound editing, the dude just has a great attitude in general. I still try to watch some of the gaming channels that I did in the past, like Caddicarus and PeanutButterGamer, but they just stuck so close to the same formula for the most part and it doesn't really hold up for me anymore, whereas I think Brutalmoose is great at trying new formats and ideas which makes it all the more entertaining.
mer a nerr sauce
he should review an MRE like steve1989mreinfo
