Cashing in on that FNaF trendyears too late
Man, what is it with Hollywood cashing in on trends years and years too late? FNAF first came out half a decade ago, Slenderman literally twice as long ago as that. Horror movies are some of the cheapest kinds of movies to make, hence why there are a billion terrible ones every year; they invest anywhere between $1-10 million and so long as it makes literally a tenth as much as your average Marvel movie, they make a respectable profit (with the off chance it'll take off like Paranormal Activity or the Conjuring movies and return that investment 30 times over). They're the little feeder fish on the bottom of the big sharks, they have no natural predators at the box office and as a result are some of the safest investments you can make nowadays. All of these viral indie horror games are made on a shoestring budget; you barely ever see Freddy Fazbear or the Slenderman, so if you're just looking to cash in on what the kids are streaming this week, you can absolutely throw together a film tie-in for the price of a single episode of Game of Thrones. Shoot around the monster, get it just barely past that 90 minute mark, shove it into theaters, and enjoy your no-hassle payday. Viral sensations are fleeting, that's why you need to strike while the iron is hot. But instead they wait years and years and years for the franchise to die and become a meme before they try to cash in. Mark my words, we're gonna get Undertale and Fortnite movies in 2030.
Outside of the children band, this barely has anything inspired from FNAF's trend. They aren't animatronics, they're actual people dressed up.
The California Raisins keep me up at night.

Man I used to love watching this show on Boomerang as a kid

Especially when its a blatant cash grab of a dead series. It'd be funnier if the series was still around and they made a self aware parody episode. It will still probably shit money though since Warner has no issues making money on the international market.
