"The Late Winter of Mild Agitation"
Hello everyone! This is an idea that I’ve personally had for a while that I’ve been meaning to do, it’s not gonna be as big as the usual Avtomat rally but we thought to do something different for the early year, just in time for winter to start thawing out.
This is a Player’s Fictional Manufacturers Only event. This means the only cars you can enter are ones that you’ve stuck underneath your own brands, which should be a laugh and also a way to start some impromptu advertising campaign and to rekindle the Garry's Mod Automotive Market. A normal Avtomat rally will commence same-ish time as last year (August time, if not sooner), but this is just something new that we’d like to try out. So come on down and bring your homegrown junk and we’ll time it and it’d be great fun.
Date and Time:
The date and time proposed is 1PM GMT to 9PM GMT on 16th-17th March. It works as a drop-in basis, so pop by between these hours. For American folk, I can arrange a host in your Timezone to carry it through the "night".

Classes of Vehicle: Cars and Trucks and ATVs (This covers vehicles such as Quadbikes, Snowmobiles within reason).

Rules:
(You might recognize some of these rules being ripped off from a previous Avtomat, which was ripped off a previous GNR)
0) Most Importantly, the car you enter must be a fictional brand of your or a friend’s creation. Any entrants with real life cars shall be promptly ignored. You’ll have the next Avtomat to enter normal material in.
1) No downforce/fin.
2) Vehicle must be finished (entering half a car is just taking the piss)
3) Engine must suit the vehicle. This means that you cannot mount a V12 in what basically equates to a Twingo size-wise.
3.A) Appropriate Weight should also be considered.
4) Only one engine is allowed. Cars having a main engine and also needing a smaller engine as a turbo is also not allowed.
5) Only one car to be spawned at a time
6) For this event in particular, we’re allowing E2 and Prop Engines, but please keep them sensible (see rule 3)
7) Shortcuts are not allowed, they will result in disqualifications.
8) Don't annoy other contestants.
9) E2 Holo Bodies (from 3d model packs like TDM and more) are not allowed in this event. Also, simply re-branding a HL2 car prop won’t cut it I’m afraid. However cars made in PAC using props converted to holograms will be allowed.
10) If you flip your car, your time will be reset. You have a maximum of 3 tries. After this we’ll note you as DNF and you’ll be obliged to leave.
11) You must only use rotational force on the wheels of your car for power. Thrusters, turbo E2s that use applyforce and other such ways of boosting power are not allowed
12) Finally, your vehicle must be an applicable rally vehicle. Foglights, numbers, advertising, rollcages, sport seats etc.
FAQ:
Q: Can I record this event?
A: We will have around 3 public filmcrew slots if you want to record the whole event. If you want to just record your lap then that’s absolutely fine too.
Q: Can I change my entry?
A: If you’ve changed your mind on what to enter in, that’s fine, but please don’t change your mind too many times because we have to keep tabs on who’s driving what.
Q: Can I spectate?
A: We do allow spectators. By all means come and sit by the road and watch the cars go past, but please don’t spawn anything until it’s your run. We don’t want spectators posing a risk to driver’s safety or a risk to the server’s strength.
Q: Can I enter in more than one vehicle?
A: We’d rather if you didn’t because since our equipment doesn’t allow it and it'd make tracking people absolute hell.

@DatCheese Please in the future take into consideration that this is a homebrand event where a certain degree of originality and effort applies. This means that your css prop mitsubishi rebadge is not applicable. I'm afraid I won't allow you to enter it in this event, however the next event will be as bog-standard as events go in a few months and you're free to enter that or other things in your repertoire. The next normal one is not going to be long after this one and that'll be your time to shine certainly. But currently as it stands it doesn't fit the situation given at hand.
I've tried to word this the best I can but this conflicts with rules 9 and more relevantly 9.A and I have to stay true to my word.
In the meantime you're free to enter in something else if possible and/or spectate, record the event or whatever. Hope you can understand. Thanks.

It's a long winded road I must admit haha. Usually the more open ones I do draw in more people. Mainly comprised of three main mods: Sprops, Wiremod and ACF. Sprops just adds more wacky shapes and stuff. ACF gives stuff like gearboxes, engines, differentials and also guns, armor and stuff, but it all rather depends on whether you want to use ACF or something like an engine made from props.
Wiremod is pretty self explanatory.
In the future I might include a small section on the mods for new-comers.

So many small and light cars and I enter a huge ass truck ahahah
Was tempted to one up you and enter in that big ass Lantra I have but I'm stuck on how to make it look rally applicable as I've never rallied a truck before.
Well, truck racing already exists, the trucks look like normal trucks, in place of the bed, the have billboards for ads and sometimes an outside cage covering the cabing area.
