The same one that people lost their collective shit over when they announced they were considering closing it some years back.
Just another day at Cannon.
Something similar happened with the Marines for over 30 years, took the government another 20 to investigate it and folks are still struggling to have it made right. Good luck to those affected, my heart goes out to them.
Yikes. I used to be stationed at Cannon AFB and lived in Clovis. The entire time, I only drank bottled water and avoided drinking the tap water as much as possible.
This town is ridiculous, not going to lie. Water poisoning aside, we're rapidly running out of what water we have. On top of that, we seem to be focused on building an economy that revolves around the base instead of actually trying to make something of ourselves, which with the attitudes here would still be either: 1) More farms (more water usage and more dumb-shit farmers planting crops in the wrong season on purpose so they can get fat farming subsidies) 2) More dairies (again, more water usage)
