The shitstorm was on trending before the thread even opened. It's funny how the tables are turned and the responses are actually angrier than the "manbabies" they used to scapegoat ad nauseam . I mean, they were angrier then too, just look at the Rolfe thing, but it's pretty poetic that it's come to them being in this position.
the anger over it is such a projection, too. I highly doubt he means "xD fuck those wimmens amirite! REAL fans are MEN", I'm sure he means a return to the ghostbusters that people know which relies more on well paced tight comedic writing, rather than some bored director picking and choosing the best takes from 7 hours worth of footage of 4 actors who are just doing improv with little to no structure to speak of
So how long before Leslie Jones barges in calling Jason Reitman a sexist pig?
God, I think we would all be better off if we could just forget GB2016 happened.
I wonder how much of the original cast might be in it to varying extents. I heard rumors that some of them were strong-armed by Sony into making cameos in the reboot, so I could imagine them passing or being left alone, especially Bill Murray.
Is it possible that the entire release of Ghostbusters 2016 was an elaborate marketing scheme for this movie?
I think it was confirmed that the surviving cast members from the original would be coming back to reprise their roles
Well, good luck.
She already did when it was first announced.

Guess I'll have to see this in the theater. Remember to vote with your wallet.
Is she cognitively handicapped?
Honest question, were any of the fans of Ghostbusters adults when they originally watched it?
I think I watched it as a kid but didn't really stick with it, I watched it again when the hubbub over the remake was going on, I didn't think it warranted the outrage over the remake.
They're both dumb comedies that reek of the time they were made.
She already called the movie something trump would make you can check that one off
280 characters was a mistake. Time to go back.
Wait, that was 2016?
Not 17?
I thought it came out, well, not as long ago.
god damn it time flies

Looks like Melissa McCarthy is having the exact opposite reaction to the sequel compared to Leslie Jones'
I can’t wait to hear the other two’s thoughts lol I’m hoping they’re the same as McCarthy. My first reaction to Leslie’s was a lack of surprise that the least talented is angry, I don’t think she’ll get a lead role in something again. She had the most to lose of everyone involved if the franchising didn’t pan out.
Did they think they invented Ghostbusters or...?
Remember, it’s okay to 100% disregard two acclaimed classic films to make your terrible unfunny reboot, but if you want to disregard the unfunny reboot you are a sexist pig who hates women.
