On Canada FP 2 a few days ago my group of 3 went to raid a 4-rocket shop selling an m2 and a bunch of other stuff. In retrospect, it was a shitty idea and I should have known that the shop owner would pull some shenanigans, but none of us thought he would be exploiting. The owner was sitting directly under the rock in front of the shop with a silenced m2 of his own and killed my two other teammates when we started rocketing. Immediately I looked to a base about 15-30m away from the shop to our left, as it had an armored door. As my two friends came back to loot their bodies (of course the owner never came out to try and clean me up and loot) they died to the same m2. Now here's the interesting part: they both reported different combatlog hitmarker distances on both occasions of death; the first time was 5m and the second time was around 15m. And I was watching the hatch the entire time to make sure they didn't get peeked while looting.
So I sat on top of a larger rock overlooking the whole ordeal for about 20 minutes as my teammates kept spawning at bags and testing the area, dying every time they would come within close proximity to their bodies. Then, the dumbass under us stopped crouching by accident and started walking on a metal floor, and one of my friends heard him directly under us. It was a completely solid rock next to a completely solid rock formation right next to the ocean.
He then proceeded to blatantly loot the bodies from under the rock (ak doesn't disappear for 1 hour after being dropped, so no reason it would disappear 20 minutes after my friends died).
My guess is he used the same boat glitch Vice showed in his foundation bunker video, given that we were bordering the ocean.
So, is rock glitching bannable? I reported him in f7 and on steam, but I'm not sure if there is any point in pursuing it further.
I guess it depends on the server rules. And if the rules doesnt say anything about rock glitching talk to a admin maybe.
I know that devs have banned people for rock bases on official servers
