I feel legitimately lucky to have almost never suffered severe food poisoning, and I've eaten at some pretty shady restaurants, I also didn't necessarily have the safest cooking habits in my younger years. I've definitely gotten pretty moderate food poisoning, and it has to be one of the worst feelings, I can't imaging the severity of the issue if someone died due to subpar food preparation. The only restaurants I've worked in have been pretty low-key and cheap, but every one of them has been insanely strict when it comes to food safety, I can't imagine how bad the lawsuits will be for this place considering its relatively high ranking.
