This is a great news for people who specialize in repairing Switches.
No fucking way this is insane
I have a feeling these games will be accessed through a streaming service rather than being native ports. I don't think that would work out very well given the Switch's specs + WiFi speeds.
Halo, Gears of War, and Forza could come to Switch as native ports, rather than through GamePass
Halo could come to Switch
I can't believe we might see Halo on a Nintendo console before we get them on PC.
So Microsoft's powerplay is to essentially release their first parties on all devices that allow it and force the others to do the same?
Of course its fucking streaming though.
I really like this Nintendo and Microsoft partnership, it's cool to see them working together to actually benefit gamers.
I woulden't bet on this rumor until it's true. Just seems a bit weird to have this rumor and one about a new Xbox with Halo Infinite as a launch title.
What the fuck is going on

Ah yes, Cuphead on Switch. For people who want a somewhat valid reason to smash their Switch to tiny bits.
From what I'm seeing it is pretty smart for them to try to tap into portables, in some form.
Reminder that mobile gaming's market value is 3 times console's (thanks to China and all the IAPs) and ps4 sold twice as much machines than xbox one.
Halo 5 Forge is on PC.
It's a joke to consider that a complete Halo game.
Will this mean that cuphead or master chief could appear in the next smash bros?
not even close though
Why not this one? They've already pulled a character from a PS4 game.
Well you at least get multiplayer and custom games and forge mode, which is a start. Definitely think the game was more of a way for them to test the feasibility of it.
Holy shit if they’re serious about this game pass thing that’s fucking huge. They must’ve realized they’re not actually competing directly with switch since it’s mostly a portable
What are the chances of some Nintendo games coming to Xbox/Windows?
There are already a handful of games on the switch that are only available through streaming and apparently work pretty well.

it already happened, it's called Microsoft buying Rare
Halo 1 & 2
Considering Microsoft's confirmed that Halo Infinite will get a PC version I don't see it as an impossibility that they'll at least finally release the MCC before it's launch to stir up hype in the PC community
I'm going to be against this as long as its streaming-only. That's too anti-consumer and I don't want that becoming the norm.
Lmao is there even a reason to own an Xbox now? All of its exclusives are being released on PC and now maybe the switch? This just reeks of desperation and them admitting the Xbox is dead
https://screenrant.com/xbox-one-lifetime-sales-total-microsoft/
40 million consoles sold. Such a dead platform.
The 8th generation is easily the most successful generation, with the PS4 selling over 91 million units and the Switch selling over 22 million units. For comparison the PS2, the highest selling games console ever, sold 158 million units in 13 years, while the Xbox sold 24 million units and the Gamecube sold 22 million units.
All the consoles have been wild successes this time round and to call any of them dead is uninformed at best. And I don't even own an Xbox One because why would I, I have a PC.
It's a dead platform when it has almost zero exclusives and the exclusives it does have always get piss poor reviews
I wouldn't say piss poor reviews. THey just don't buck the trend at all; Halo 4 and 5 are still fairly tight shooters but they just don't compare to the sheer scale of balls and fun that were 1, 2 and 3.
Halo 4 and 5 are objectively shit when compared to Halo 1-Reach
