Unpaid work was probably a better thing back when a small job could hold up your whole life.
or, hear me out, people 100 years ago decided to stake a stand and decided workers deserved some dignity and made the practice illegal, then their children slowly eroded this strong promise until its meaningless and now people are fighting back to return society to where it should be.

One of the most very basic tenants of Capitalism is now entitlement apparently.
Corporations have failed to provide an offer for their labor that Millennials are willing to accept.
Instead of bitching and moaning that you can't just get anyone to agree to anything, instead consider offering things people might accept.
Hopefully the beginning of the end of the "You need experience to get work but you need work to get experience" paradox of shit.

Or maybe it's because we realised that Volunteer Work looks a hell of a lot better on a CV if we need something to pad it out, and it has the added benefit of helping people.

Well he's right in calling them/us (me ) entitled, but this isn't the right hill to die on for that. I think even most (like, 90 to 98%) of non-millennials would agree that you should be paid for your menial labor and it has nothing to do with entitlement (this time!)

Every single fucking "Entry Level" position I've looked at requires three years of experience. Sometimes at the same goddamn company, or with tech that is entirely proprietary and I couldn't possibly have experience with
