https://www.newsweek.com/nra-magazine-target-practice-nancy-pelosi-gabby-giffords-1341692 The National Rifle Association is facing scrutiny over publishing a magazine spread that depicts House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and former Rep. Gabby Giffords, a victim of gun violence, next to a large headline that reads "Target Practice.” Lawmakers and advocates decried the American Rifleman layout as offensive on Saturday afternoon after Huffington Post reporter Jennifer Bendery shared pictures of the magazine on Twitter. The magazine spread, which appears in the March 2019 print and online edition, features an article about congressional efforts to increase gun legislation. Chris Cox, the executive director of the NRA’s lobbying branch, wrote the piece and identified Pelosi as the “arch anti-gunner.” Both Pelosi and Giffords have been targeted for their political work. In 2011, Giffords was shot in the head in a failed assassination attempt in Arizona during a meeting with community members. She survived the attack and went on to found Americans for Responsible Solutions, a super pac that supports gun control initiatives. The group rebranded as “Giffords” in 2016.
These people are trying to get someone killed.
Considering Russian money flows through the NRA, is it safe to call them an asset?
I'd call them a liability personally. No self respecting gun owner should support the NRA.
From the ideal defense position, the NRA is at best a Russian money laundering front at this point.
Might as well call it a "wanted: dead" poster at this point.
They're definitely an asset, if it's not for the money it's for something else. Look at this advertisement. It's pure propaganda aimed to split up USA even more. https://youtu.be/VH9EHEuBibY
They're also currently headed by a disgraced former air force officer and international arms smuggler.
What idiot keeps making these dumb PR moves for the NRA and what idiot doesn't fire them
Friendly reminder, the Socialist Rifle Association and Redneck Revolt are a thing.
You say this like it isn't working as intended.

Socialist Rifle Association seems ok though
I genuinely did not know the SRA was a thing.
Redneck Revolt and the John Brown GC's are some of the biggest fudds out there. Socialist Rifle Association is pretty chill though.
Redneck Revolt/John Brown Gun Club actively support counter-protests of shithead Neo-Nazi Brownshirt-wannabe groups like Proud Boys/Patriot Prayer, and I'm not really seeing anything terrible in those pictures. There's nothing wrong with them or what they do, and they are not a bad group. They're anti-racist, anti-fascist, and anti-capitalist, actively promote membership of minority groups who are frequently discriminated against in regards to gun rights, protest against white nationalists, and . Really not much to hate here, period. They also serve as great deterrent against the police when the police starts busting up counter-protests when they're colluding with the neo-nazis.
Well they do have pretty terrible fashion taste. Someone please call the fashion police
You know as a Pro 2nd Amendment guy, its shit like this that pisses me off. I dont care if its just words next to a picture; its those kind of words next to a picture of a very specific person. Also considering the backlash of picture that had a crosshair next to the head of a Judge who was presiding over that nixon-aboo Stone's case; Someone should have taken a step back and realize what was being said especial when a lot of Pro-gun guys like to see hidden messages and run with it to the extremes. However since this is the modern day NRA we are talking about here, Im willing to bet that was fucking intentional and are gonna back peddle saying "Oh we didnt mean that, we arnt crazy psychos who rage when ever someone crosses our lord and president for life Trump"
I'd like them on Facebook but I got a feeling that'd put me on a lot of lists.
