Mysterious Amazon listing teases Bethesda game (possibly Fallout related)

3 turned 10 last year, and the thought for the Fallout 76 advertising and hype leadup was a remastered version of 3. So this could be it, or something else. Who knows.
*Fallout 76, regular mastered. Now with whole game.
A re-release of the old games would be nice.
"Fallout 1! A battleroyale in the Fallout universe! The nukes are coming down and getting closer! Be the one person to get to the Vault and survive the end of the world!"
oh boy can't wait for Fallout 77
fo76 dlc
it's not remastered it's
Fallout76: Special Edition
all the DLC in one game!
featuring a high-res texture pack!
It'd be interesting if the hype for a remastered 3 actually put plans in motion to do it.
Fallout 3 Remastered, by Obsidian.
Fallout 3/new vegas remaster where none of the mods work and they have more bugs
and creation club integration with a bunch of paid mods that people have done better for free
Skyrim 76, "See that mountain? You can buy it!"
Watch as they then proceed to pull the original Fallout 3 listing from Steam, just like they did with Skyrim.
Watch it be Fallout 3 VR.
With the DLC being piecemeal and Creator Club integration, in addition to being exclusive to the Beth Launcher on PC.
They're shutting down 76 and gonna release the next iteration.
Plot twist : They're going to build the game on top of the 76 engine with a few tweaks. Also gonna be sub based, with loot boxes, and cosmetics.
Wouldn't be opposed to that, since the version of Fallout 3 that Steam currently sells is hardly compatible with modern operating systems.
This is just a repost of what I said in the Fallout thread, but I wouldn't expect this to be anything of note right now. There's no indication this is actually anything to do with Bethesda, let alone Fallout. While the Amazon pages say the listings are from Bethesda, one look at the rest of the listings from Bethesda shows a bunch of stuff that's completely unrelated, like Lego Dimensions, travel bags and stuff that's obviously unofficial listings and merch. And the manufacturer video is just this video. Why would Bethesda use something like that to hint it's Fallout when they've either already got their own equivalent or could easily make one?
Until there's an actual shred of evidence this is anything to do with Bethesda, I'd assume this is just someone messing around with Amazon listings.
I don't think I'm ready for another Fallout game.
Considering everything, I don't think I'll ever be.
And to think that Brotherhood of Steel for the PS2/Xbox was considered to be the worst game at one point.
But Doom and Wolfenstein
Arkane, id and MachineGames would disagree with you.
Bethesda Softworks just publishes, not develops.
If anything, just by stuff with the Bethesda Softworks label and just ignore the Bethesda developed games. Maybe they'll pass off Fallout to someone who actually gives a shit.
They've claimed Fallout, their pride won't let them let good developers make a good Fallout game.
It could be some kind of combo Fallout 4/76 deal plus dlc to ship out more copies of 76.
I've ignored Fallout 76 completely so far, but I'd buy a FO3 remaster/remake in a heartbeat; really hope that's what this is. FO3 doesn't hold up at all from a gameplay standpoint, even less so than New Vegas since that at least had ironsights.
I doubt its a Fallout 3 remaster, the game has aged so poorly
maybe a fallout 3 port to the newest engine like they did with skyrim
It's going to be something garbage anyway.
