Honestly, as much bootleg shit comes out of China, it boggles my mind that major manufacturers still entrust their blueprints and designs over there.

Can someone explain the foldable phone fad to me? I remember watching a video a while ago regarding the FlexPai, and I remember it being stated that the number of folds the phone can do was around 200,000 times. It seems odd to me that people are paying so much (€2000???) for something that is only bound to get worn out way more than a normal phone would?
Folding it 50 times/day would give it a lifetime of 11 years so I'm not really concerned about it whatsoever.

Honestly, if it was the same pricepoint as a S9 and wouldn't have potential durability issues I would buy it just to reduce the amount of things I have to carry.
They're a phablet without the form factor of one and the utility of a full-sized tablet. It's gonna overpriced crap for the next few years, but I really do see these blowing up in popularity once they get cheaper.
