"Laid out", "Broad strokes" and "Go medieval on Trump's ass" in the same thread, oh my. But good on ya, Cohen. Don't spare any details.
Please, just for once can good news actually stay good news? I'm hopeful that he's only saying this after the evidence for his claims was made nice and secure.
Cohen and his legal team are expected to provide the committee with a slide containing several of Trump's private financial statements, which they claim reveals how Trump inflated his assets for business and personal reasons. The source said the statements — which were not provided to Axios — will show Trump's assets, liabilities and net worth, but cannot be independently verified without Trump's tax returns. I kind of like Cohen. He helped facilitate all of Trump's crimes, but as soon as the heat got turned up Trump threw him under the bus instantly, and now Cohen's coming back for mother fuckin' vengence
My Rep Jordan calling in, he's already decried the whole thing as a sham and said he's gonna disrupt it as best he can, which is odd because not 12 months ago he was mancrushing on Cohen and softballing him. God I love living in this bootlicker's fucking district.
Yeah, don't forget that Cohen flipped before Trump threw him under the bus, and it was entirely to save his own skin. Is he useful for now? Should he be encouraged on his current path? Sure. But if it weren't his hide on the line, I wouldn't trust the bastard. I still don't, generally.

Michael Cohen was the deputy finance chair of the Republican National Committee.
Really gives me a big think. I wonder just how deep this rabbithole lined wall to wall with rubles and money laundering fronts goes into the Republican hierarchy.
For years, Michael Cohen praised realDonaldTrump’s honesty and integrity. I pray for an eventual time where the GOP hops off of Trump's dick and acts as if he is the next incarnation of Jesus Christ, with the biggliest hands, the biggliest business plans, etc.
Wow, look who's desperate and on damage control!
Politico has obtained his prepared testimony apparently: Cohen testimony on Trump https://www.politico.com/f/?id=00000169-2d31-dc75-affd-bfb99a790001
-As President, Trump wrote Cohen a PERSONAL CHECK to reimburse the Stormy Daniels payment with the WHITE HOUSE MAIL SYSTEM -Trump got Cohen to threaten schools into not releasing his grades -Trump never expected to win the primary or election -Cohen was listening to Roger Stone telling Trump that Assange had Hillary's emails -Trump knew about the Trump Tower meeting
Cohen knows where the bodies are buried and Trump very publicly threw him under the bus after he committed crimes for The Donald. This is gonna be great. I'm looking forward to Trump's tweets, too. https://twitter.com/Popehat/status/1100423208077905925

He also confirmed, on page 7: Yet,  last  fall  I  pled  guilty  in  federal  court  to  felonies  for  the  benefit  of,  at  the direction  of,  and  in  coordination  with  Individual  #1.   For  the  record:  Individual  #1  is  President  Donald  J.  Trump.  Page 9: Donald  Trump  is  a  man  who  ran  for  office  to  make  his  brand  great, not to make  our  country  great.  He  had  no  desire  or  intention  to  lead  this  nation  – only  to  market  himself  and  to  build  his  wealth  and  power.  Mr.  Trump  would often  say,  this  campaign  was  going  to  be  the  “greatest  infomercial  in political  history.”    Same page: A  lot  of  people  have  asked  me  about  whether  Mr.  Trump  knew  about  the release  of  the  hacked  Democratic  National  Committee  emails  ahead  of time.  The  answer  is  yes.  Page 12, big lmao: Mr.  Trump  directed  me  to  find  a  straw  bidder  to  purchase  a  portrait  of  him that was  being  auctioned  at  an  Art  Hamptons  Event. The  objective  was  to ensure  that  his  portrait,  which  was  going  to  be  auctioned  last,  would  go  for the  highest price  of any  portrait that afternoon.  The  portrait  was  purchased by  the  fake  bidder  for  $60,000. Mr. Trump  directed  the  Trump  Foundation, which  is  supposed  to  be  a  charitable  organization,  to  repay  the  fake  bidder, despite  keeping  the  art  for  himself.
The question is not just whether he knew about the emails, but whether he specifically asked for them to be hacked.
Page 16: Questions have been raised about whether I know of direct evidence that Mr. Trump or his campaign colluded with Russia. I do not. I want to be clear. But, I have my suspicions. He then goes on to describe his suspicion as being confirmed by Trumps son, Donald Jr. going behind Trump's desk and telling him that a meeting has been set up, with Trump replying something along the lines of "okay good let me know", which he noted as being extremely odd because Trump has openly said to Cohen that Donald Jr., his own son, has the worst judgement in the world who can't ever be trusted to set up a meeting of any significance on his own. Thus he concluded that short exchange was referring to the suspected Hillary emails meeting with Russian officials. Basically, all he has in that end are indirect speculations, so anything in that regard will be confirmed by other investigations, not Cohen. Although, I'm curious what implications everything else he's exposed have, with or without Trump's own records confirming them.
To be fair, I'll bet you a Trump Steak that Trump would have zero hesitation shitting all over Don Jr's career, accomplishments, and mental fortitude if it meant he looked great in comparison at that moment. I'm sure if I looked I could find at least five examples of Trump praising Don Jr. as being a business genius -- with Don Sr. taking all the credit, of course. You can't take anything Trump says seriously; his actions demonstrate his real feelings when it comes down to it, because that's when he's forced to make a choice and really decide what he wants. And Trump's actions regarding the entire Trump-Russia affair have consistently been those of a man with an incredibly guilty conscience who is trying to obstruct and cover up his own misdeeds.
Ooh, now there's an idea for some rousing entertainment. Turn Trump and Don Jr. against each other and see which one the conservatives side with, especially since Don Jr. is now expected to establish a Trump presidential "dynasty" in 2024 (which - let's be honest - they might wanna hold off on setting up until they see whether ol' Tinyhands can even make it to 2020, let alone win it).
We honor our veterans — even in the rain. You tell the truth, even when it doesn't aggrandize you. You don't attack the media and those who question what you don't like or what you don't want them to say and you take responsibility for your own dirty deeds. You don't use your power of your bully pulpit to destroy the credibility of those who speak out against you. You don't separate families from one another or demonize those looking to America for a better life. You don't vilify people based on the god they pray to and you don't cuddle up to our adversaries at the expense of our allies. Finally, you don't shut down the government before Christmas and New Year's just to simply appease your base. This behavior is churlish, it denigrates the office of the president and it's simply un-American. And it's not you. Cohen's final remarks were basically one big ass burn on Trump directly, and spot on
