damn boy george is looking good for his age in this
yawn
Always a good sign when the trailer drops at midnight and has less than a thousand views after 15 hours.
I'll watch the home release
Boy I really can’t get excited about this series anymore
"I'm not giving up on Eugene"
Imagine wanting Disney to take the reigns.
God Mystique's makeup looks so cheap.
Why is 90% of the budget on the CGI and NOT THE COSTUMES

If I'm honest, I never thought Dark Phoenix was that compelling of an arc in the first place. I think a lot of people look back on it as a milestone event in Marvel comics because it involves a major protagonist dying, but comics (and now movies) of today have reinforced that a hero dying is never a major event because every character dies and gets resurrected or rebooted about a million times. Plus, we've already had one Dark Phoenix arc in X-men movies. I guess their reasoning with this one is that they're going to do it "right" by being slightly more faithful (i.e. having the Dark Phoenix be an actual outer-space entity) but I honestly don't see them making it any more compelling than it was in the movies X2 and 3
She demanded to be only in the chair for an hour max, or no deal. et voila.
I heard she was just allergic to the makeup and refused to put them on unless they CG'd the makeup on. I just wish when they went that route they touched it up more. Honestly it's hard to top First Class and even Days of Future Past if that's your thing. I'm starting to see a familiar pattern with this trailer and the stakes and moments from the last X-Men movies, all the way down to the Quicksilver scene. The threat can't be raised because each villain after DoFP was just "End of the World" with the villain being a godlike entity. Where do you go from the sentinels that could adapt to anything?
Imagine adapting the same storyline twice and fucking up both times.
one would asume they would had realised the money was on x23 and not on the xmen anymore.
Days of Future Past ruined any kind of suspense from this movie. Being Canon to this universe we all know that they all survive and make friend again. If they don't, then it shits all over the canon they've built up to this point with this reboot of the universe.
Yeah, I just need Dark Phoenix just to destroy the whole universe and send it all down the cosmic toilet for that reason. Or Galactus shows up at the end to eat FoX-Men's Earth.
IIRC part of the reasons for Mystique looking worse and worse every iteration is because Jennifer Lawrence started making more and more of a fuss about the makeup, so the production team had to start applying cheaper makeup, rely more on CGI, and slap a full uniform on the character instead of the trademark full body suit.
Just throw this and give us quicksilver the movie
All the more reason to kill her off! ...the character, I mean, of course. Not JLaw.
The director has already confirmed that it is. He says they wanted to make it shocking, but it's more likely JLaw wanted to Han Solo herself right out of the franchise.
Hallelujah!
Yeah if they were trying to hide the fact that Mystique dies in this they did a terrible job. In this trailer it opens with jean attacking mystique, her talking to herself saying "she was my friend" and shots of a funeral. And we don't see Mystique at all after the first like 10 seconds, lol
