https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNeZWP5Mx9s This is the closest I've seen anyone get to Boston Dynamics in terms of reactive movement
I always feel so bad when they kick these little guys, or when they fall and "hurt" themselves
Feels strangely natural when it ragdolls and the legs flop all over.
when it goes haywire its like a robotic version of The Thing
Wonder if the leg design choices that make it similar to BD's ones are because of BD or because thats what any design ends up with as the most efficient choice?
Boston Dynamics started out of MIT's Leg Lab so the tech they're working with is probably similar.
I wonder how expensive these would be to mass produce once they have the navigation and AI finalized.
Fairly sure these are completely blind, as opposed to the Boston Dynamics ones. It'll take them a while to get to a point where it's a finished product, like the spot mini
That's okay, it will be perfect for the stealth section of our apocalypse.
