• The one thing truly holding the game back from greatness

You have a choice the following: Having a 30000 metal frag a day base to deter cheaters from tunneling into your loot room Having your loot room tunneled straight into by a cheater who can see where your loot is through your walls because you dont have a 30k metal per day base Dont have any nice items ever because if you do, a cheater is going to see it through your walls and tunnel straight into it The point im getting at, is that cheating is a massive problem in Rust, and basically ruins the game for anyone who doesn't cheat (which sadly seems to be a minority of players at this point). It is a problem that the devs claimed would be addressed a few times, but sadly, hasn't been properly dealt with. EAC does all of nothing in the grander scheme of things, and from a player with 2k hours' perspective, its very, VERY easy to spot a cheater in Rust, and there are far too many. I post this topic in hopes that maybe the right person will read it, and perhaps it will cause just enough momentum to push anyone involved to make Rust a better game via dealing with the cheater epidemic. I know this to be foolish at this point, but I remain hopeful regardless, because I love this game, and I want to see it at its best, which, unfortunately for a lot of the people who are going to flame me for making this thread, means a Rust without cheaters. Flame me if you want, you're either a hacker trying to hush outrage, or a sad person on a forum who feeds on making others miserable Tell me this isnt the place to post this if you want; Rust Anything and everything to do with Rust. Say this thread won't accomplish anything if you want, I don't care, I paid for this game, I invest my time into it, and I have a right to be outraged and voice my concerns when my experience is ruined by cheaters.
