Technically no - that would mean the vaccine is 100% effective, which it isn't (it's 93 and 97% effective for one and two doses respectively). I get where you're coming from but you needn't use hyperbole to criticise anti-vax folks.

That's the thing though, they didn't even bother with the statistical chance of it. They knowingly evaded that.
Their kid could have also had an immune disease and reacted to the vaccine.
Their kid could have also gotten it before they planned vaccinating.
But there is a massive statistical chance that it wouldn't have happened. Vaccines are overwhelmingly effective.
And to think that people would rather not vaccinate their child and let him die than vaccinate it thanks to an important "research" by a "respectable and reliable doctor". I think he's still walking free with no regrets.
And this is too serious given that not only are you risking the lives of your children and everyone where your kid is, at the same time you turn them into a "transporter" of the virus to spread it quickly. (There was not a case in Costa Rica of a French family that was anti-vaxx or never vaccinate to their children and and made measles return to that country that was eradicated in 2014 ?)
You guys are sort of missing the worst part of Anti-Vaxxers. Sure them being negligent and letting their own kids die is bad, although somewhat deserved on their end.
But even worse is the countless people who are unable to get vaccines because of various health conditions, who are now more likely to get infected because dumb fucks aren’t vaccinating their kids who might have stronger immune systems.
Ther really should be some kind of law, lack of vaccination is objectively bad for society

If measles (or any disease) takes hold of even a small population, chances increase exponentially that a random mutation renders it effective even against vaccines, meaning we would have no defenses at all.
And in todays interconnected world, that could mean that millions, if not more, could die.

There could be a science report saying that feeding children mercury is bad and you'd still get people claiming it's a conspiracy and doing just that.

Youre forced to do a lot of things to live in society. You must pay taxes if you work or own property. You must educate your children. You must follow laws and rules, and you must use a government currency to purchase almost anything.
Ergo, i feel its right to force children to be innoculated against very contageous and dangerous diseases to prevent their spread throughout society and killing thousands if not millions. Dont want to? Live in the woods then
I imagine some people are scared and that's why they don't go with vaccines, but these people need to be properly educated on this, it's not even like it's a minor thing either, it's a big deal that these morons are freely allowed to let this happen.
The funny part about this though, you couldn't even threaten these people with death if they don't get their kids vaccinated, they already don't care about it by choosing to not vaccinate their children, if they don't care about their own kid dying, I highly doubt they'll care about themselves dying.
It's literally impossible to educate these people, if it was possible to educate them they wouldn't be anti-vaxxers in the first place. Not exactly like the info isn't out there, they just don't give a shit and think they know best. Most of them are probably on the lower end of the IQ bell curve so they probably couldn't understand any of the reasoning you gave them any way.
There's something that I think a lot of people don't realize about anti-vaxxers -- they've made themselves enemies of the truth. It's got nothing to do with being educated on the subject, any studies or statistics that you show them will be waved off as lies spread by pharmaceutical companies. They claim to have all these studies that they can't produce about how thimerosal causes diseases and deformities. Contrary to popular belief, it also rarely has anything to do with autism. Anti-vaxxers genuinely believe that they're doing the right thing and that they're saving their kids' lives by choosing to not have them vaccinated, and that they found the truth that big pharma doesn't want us to know.
It honestly has me wondering, what could there be done about these people? I mean they're a serious problem right now and threaten the future for many children, it's disgusting behaviour how they're basically fine with killing their children because they believe they're not and that they know better.
Is putting them down behind the Garden Shed an option?
That's the thing, people aren't born anti-vaxxers. They were miseducation- usually by themselves.
I don't know what mental disorder makes people want to believe in bullshit, probably something to do with their empty husk of a life or wanting something to blame for their problems. But they do it to themselves. I.e. they willingly put other peoples lives at risk. They're pretty much murderers.
