Proud of my council, they initially sided with Trump on this though unfortunately, he had many promises of bringing many jobs to the area. His residential villages never took off as he had promised though and those jobs never came.
glad this is the only thing my hometown is in the news for these days, get fucked trump
He made a threatening tweet at the UK government about this https://twitter.com/davidfrum/status/1102218594094473216
So if you could manipulate Trump into having to pay for this you could harm US-UK relations. Sounds like a puppet to me.
Another impeachable instance of the President using his official position to influence his private business prospects. Just imagine if Obama had threatened to screw with the US' relationship with a foreign country because they weren't treating his golf course business nicely.
What was the tweet in question?
Honestly by now we should be making an archive of all these similar instances just to throw at the right-wing whenever they'd get pissy about the littlest thing with a left-wing president.
I remember when he first started whining about this a few years ago, back before the 2016 elections were even on anyone's mind and he was still just some washed-up bitch at the time. Glad to see he didn't get his way. Suck it, clown.

but Trump was removed from his company and said it would play no part in his decision making... or did he lie to us all?
He put his son in charge. Hardly a "blind trust".
Transcript from the committee appeal against the wind farms video:- Trump: I am an expert on tourism. If you...dot your landscape with these horrible, horrible structures, you will do tremendous damage- Member Of Scottish Parliament (MSP): (interrupting) My question is, where is the clinical evidence - not an opinion, an empirical assessment; where is your clinical evidence? Trump: Well, first of all, I am the evidence. I think I'm more of an expert- (laughter from those in the room) Trump: - I...you know what, I think I'm a lot more of an expert than the people you'd like me to hire, who are doing it to make a paycheck- MSP: -If you won't- Trump: -But I am an expert in tourism. Trump is such a goddamn retard.
Is it just me or do wind turbines looks really fucking cool and actually enhance the landscape they are placed in? They look like some kind of alien device you'd find in the background of a videogame level.
I'm not surprised either. Allow me to share some American History that explains why. Back in the 70's, Atlantic City in New Jersey was in decline. a 40 years younger Donald Trump claimed he could help save the city by introducing Casino Gambling. He built casinos there, and while it did put Atlantic City on the map as a less popular version of Las Vegas, it didn't do much to help the city at all and it's still kind of a dump to this day. Even then he was doing this shit. He couldn't save Atlantic City so I had no faith that he could do the same with an entire country.
I genuinely can't tell if this is an excellent impression, or actual transcript.
Commute past these ones on the regular, they're great.
I really don't understand how they "spoil the view".
It is unfortunately very real.
WTF I never knew Trump appeared before the Scottish parliament, that's crazy Video: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-scotland-20463092/donald-trump-tells-msps-i-am-the-evidence
