Korvstroganoff (Sausage stroganoff)
It's so simple to make, and it is super cheap if you only use these ingredients:
Sausage
Rice
Water
Milk
Spice mix made for stroganoff
Ketchup
And there's also many ways to do it (ref: image), with various ingredients, cheap and non-cheap.
I used to live a year on this due to economical difficulties, one small portion a day and it didn't cost more than $75 a month. Made it in batches of three.
But of course, in the end I got bored of it so I tried new things. But when it comes to resturants I always choose pizza when I'm going to watch a new movie I've been hyped for, or eating sushi when going outside.
And a bit more luxery, there is crayfish soup.

Not a fan of that sourness tbh
Try making them with your favorite hot sauce. Also, Louisiana style hot sauces vary in their vinegar (sour) content, so a buffalo wing made with one sauce may not be as sour as a wing made with another sauce.
Also not a fan of American style hot sauce
Then try pretty much any sauce.
Good sushi is my vice.

This is the best food in the universe.
Can’t go wrong with a vindaloo. Goes alright with lamb, chicken or even tofu. It’s my go-to curry dish.
Though my softest spot is for doner kebabs. I always have them with tabouli, hummus and garlic sauce.
Tandoori is my favorite kind of Chicken, better when served with Biryani rice.

There's a Sushi bar in down town where I live and for $10 you can literally a all chicken(teriyaki, spicy, crunchy and sweet and sour) with any sauce you want(usually go for bbq and mayo or sweet chili and teriyaki) and comes with rice, onions, lettuce and ginger.
A good, hearty dish of Spaghetti and Meatballs. Best thing I can cook.

Oh no why did i browse this thread while hungry
My favorite past-time is trying out all sorts of different Vietnamese restaurant to see how good the quality of the food is, my city is filled with ramen and vietnamese food-shops and I always try out their pho first. If I like the pho, I usually come back and order whatever other entree's they have.
https://thewoksoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/pho-recipe-5.jpg
Pho is both hearty because of the meat and broth, but also refreshing because its jam-packed full of beansprouts and other vegetables. You can even make it as spicy as you like
