Tbh as someone who hunts responsibly and actually cares about conservation and wildlife, I honestly don't care if poachers get killed.
Poachers practically kill themselves with the firearms they use we practically don't need people to kill them:

I'm under the impression these lands are something along the lines of federal/protected reserves/lands. If you want to trespass while armed, I'd say you should expect an armed response in return. This kind of poaching isn't like shooting a deer out of season either, this is maliciousness at it's purest form.
Poachers kill rangers. The good guys shouldn't have to wait for them to shoot first. I'm with you - I think if you're visibly armed, they should light you up, no questions asked. But that isn't what this is about.
Indigenous people and villagers have been shot, beaten unconscious, sexually assaulted, and whipped by armed guards in parks in places like Nepal and Cameroon, BuzzFeed alleges.
Yikes. I didn't think I needed to read the article to get the point (I thought it was pretty obvious), but that's a fucking plot twist.
I'm not sure what people were expecting. What did they think armed guards were going to do?
The guards WWF hires is more like mercenaries rather than actual rangers. Whether or not they are trained to the strict policies is a different story.
Another issue I want to point out, they need to stop outsourcing to third party companies to ask for donations. They've been asking people to donate WWF, when clearly they got more than enough funds.
This seems to be an issue lots of groups have when it comes to hiring paid guns in places like Africa.
its almost like africa is a fucking mess
