Need help with sewing project - No idea what I'm doing

So I'm trying to make myself something to wear. I bought this pattern from the store Simplicity Pattern 8517 Misses' Set of Ponchos

I cut out all the pieces I need, but actually reading the instructions is absolutely confusing to me. I don't want to post the instructions online (would that be illegal?) but if anyone here knows a thing or two about sewing and would like to help me out, please hit me up on discord. The pictures are very confusing and not clear at all to me on how they are put together.
