Can't it just be that they have the best complimentary breakfast in town and not that they're obviously laundering money into Trump's pockets like everybody says?
It's actually not particularly shocking to me that the Trump Washington Hotel, known for being within a 2 block radius of some of the biggest and most important meeting spaces in the entire DC area, would end up being the choice of accommodation for high-level executives visiting DC for the sole purpose of holding and attending conferences. For what it's worth, T-Mobile also basically put up the receipts - they stayed half the time in Hilton hotels, so either they're in bed with Hilton too, or T-Mobile has deep pockets and is willing to put their execs up in the best and closest hotels to their destination.
Re: that last part, I really can't imagine it would cause that much of a fuss, and realistically would be the ethical thing to do in a situation where you're actively lobbying the executive office Of course, this moral dilemma shouldn't have been allowed to happen in the first place and he should have had to sell that shit right off the bat, but we are where we are I guess
Sorry - I don't think I represented my own argument very well. I agree personally that it would be the ethical thing to do - however, immediately you would have right-wing outlets picking up the story and making a huge political issue of the fact that T-Mobile "refused" to stay in a Trump hotel. I think either way it got sliced, one side would have enough ammunition to level some real serious criticism their way. Damned if you do, and damned if you don't.
They have the greatest taco bowls.
See it wouldn't really be a problem had Trump actually left his company in a blind trust. Then the Trump hotel would just be another hotel.
I agree with you 100%. Now we're really getting down to brass tacks here
his children and son in law are all recieving money from it. Kushner and Ivanka are abusing the law because of a fucking stupid loophole that they don't take a salary so they can't be bribed.
