Satellite images show the reconstruction work was carried out shortly before their failed second summit in Hanoi last week, and their publication on Tuesday evening contributed to fears that the peace effort was in jeopardy
“If they’re not willing to do it, then I think President Trump has been very clear ... they’re not going to get relief from the crushing economic sanctions that have been imposed on them and we’ll look at ramping those sanctions up in fact,” he said.
However, the new evidence that some of the confidence-building steps taken by Pyongyang after the first summit in Singapore have now been reversed, coupled with the pointed threat from Bolton, suggest Trump’s proudest foreign policy achievement is now in danger of unravelling.
Wow, with the Cohen testimony happening at the same time I totally forgot about the summit in Nam. What a shitshow. So much for any good international relations we had left.
Let me just find my list of at least mildly competent people surprised by this...
Ah right here it is:

Funnily enough, during the testimony NPR radio hosts opined that Trump will be furious at the testimony not because of its content but because it distracted the media away from him and his summit.
Honestly with it being such a failure, I think the testimony eclipsing the summit actually worked in Trump's favor to a degree.
Oh don't worry they're rebuilding it to serve as a museum.
I love the assessment that its either in case the talks break down or so they have something to dynamite in case talks succeed.
Everything I've been hearing though is that A. This site isn't needed to begin with because they already have mobile truck launch capability so this is really a relic and that B. This places wasn't even the spot that the US wanted dismantled as a sign of good faith. This is an old rusted launch site they did as a testament.
where did you get trump's briefing notes
North Korea's truck mounted missiles don't have an intercontinental range.
There's not enough usage of the word "Trump" plastered all over the paper for that joke to be accurate.
I think it is more likely that he'd use a pad to do something like Douglas does in this clip:
