This has been bugging me for a while and I am wondering if someone here knows why this is happening and if it can be removed/reconfigured:
Render distance seems to be different for objects that are at the edge of your field of view. This means if I turn sideways to sth. and then look at the edge of my screen, it appears much closer than when I look at it with the center of my screen.
Also, there seems to be a blur/grain effect that gets more pronounced the further away from the center of the screen. Objects at the sides look like filmed with a potato, while they are crisp and sharp in the center of the screen.
Does anyone know what causes the image to be rendered like this, and if this can be disabled?
I’ve been communicating with support about this issue recently.
theres a bunch of reasons that this can happen.
whats your screen resolution/monitor configuration?
have you turned your FOB up in the settings? Also turn off vignet, DoF, and notion blur.
Apologies for not having this in the original question. My fov is at max, vignette, dof and motion blur are off.
